The words "Final Gunslinger" are getting used a lot, by both devs and average posters: as in "The Final Gunslinger will have X replaced with Y."
I'm just wondering...is this beta the last we'll see of the Gunslinger until Ultimate Combat comes out? Or will we see a round 3? I would hope for the latter, since we've got a huge amount of time between now and the actual release of the book (scheduled for August) and I know at least I would like to see how the class develops over the months. I'm not suggesting that we need changes RIGHT NOW, DAMMIT! But maybe in late May or early June? After Ultimate Magic has been given a little time to sink in?
Even a sticky thread in these forums like: "Changes to the Gunslinger" would be preferable to perpetual (metaphorical) darkness for 5 months.
Obviously, there are other things going into Ultimate Combat than just the Gunslinger. Both of the Alternate Classes have to be sorted out, along with the multitude of archetypes, feats, new spells and optional systems being presented in the book. Just wondering if we'll get a re-re-visit on this particular class.

P.S - Will we be getting any playtests of the new systems in the book, as well? I'm especially excited for the Armor as DR and the "New Health-tracking" systems teased in the description of the book.

Sounds right the Magus had a round one and a round two. Gunslinger is in round two. So the next generation of the Gunslinger we will see is the final version.
