Psionics

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I haven't found anything that deals with Psionics in Pathfinder yet. I have the 3.5 Psionics book and am planning on incorporating them into a campaign soon.

Has anyone done this yet, and what kinda changes did you make within the classes and races?

This is supposed to be pretty good. I am not a huge Psionics fan, but the comments I have read on the boards show this to be the best thing out there on Psionics for PFRPG.

Psionics Unleashed (PFRPG)

Thanks! I must've overlooked that look on my searches somehow :/

I also use dreamscarred press psionics. We should push to have them officially incorporated into PF because I use TOS+ (The Only Sheet) and he only puts in there the things that are canon.

I can't give you any playtest feedback, but I have read Psionics Unleashed and I'd say they did a great job.

Grand Lodge

The only thing I've used out of PU is a drow soulknife I used as a villain in the last session I ran.

The new blade skills gives the class something to set them apart from "fighter with non-loseable sword" that the class was in 3.5, truly making them unique. The blade skills function similar to rogue talents, but are strictly focused on abilities that make sense for a psylocke/lightsaber crossbreed.

The villain was able to pull some nifty moves that were new and exciting, but not overpowered. She went toe-to-toe with the Paladin for a couple rounds, and then fell as all evil villains must before the onslaught of the Paladin Smite Awesome (TM) ability. I wish I had my notes in front of me for examples I could give you, but alas, I am on my lunch break at work.

While not psionic in the traditional sense, I would say it is no longer just a nifty concept, but carries much better balance. Kudos to the Dreamscarred guys, definitely worth putting the cash down.

My I humbly tend this as a playtest game. Still at low level, but nothing's broken yet.

Agreed--I haven't been able to playtest either, but reading the book is a pleasure. Well, well worth the cash.
