Gunslinger, TWF and Sleight of Hand

Gunslinger Discussion: Round 2

Forgive me if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it. Anyway I had a TWF character that fought with one weapon then made a sleight of hand check to switch hands and get his second hand attacks. My group at the time ruled that it was okay. I never really took the concept long term so I don't know how well it would play out

My question is could a gunslinger pull this off with a revolver?

Scarab Sages

I'd say no because it's Two Weapon Fighting, you need 2 weapons.
I also wouldn't let a melee character do it.
Making multiple attacks with one weapon is using your intertive attacks. +20/+15/+10/+5)
You can do gun attack and unarmed strike combo just fine.

See that's now how Two weapon fighting works. It's two WEAPONS not TWO HANDS.

When one is shooting two guns, its left hand right hand, left hand right hand until one hand is out of attacks and then the other finishes off.

if someone was 12/7/2 with two weapon fighting only and they were using pistols, it would be 8/3/-2 on the main hand and 8 on the off hand.

So shots would go 8, 8 , 3, -2... not 8/3/-2 then 8.

Like wise with two daggers on the same character, 12/7/2 becomes 10/5/0 on the main hand and 10 on the of hand, so 10, 10, 5, 0 is the sequence of attacks.

There is a FEAT somewhere I've seen that DOES let you do that though.... it's a pathfinder feat too.

It does seem rather obvious when you guys put it that way. oh well just a random idea I thought might work. Live and learn
