Advanced guns specifically state they don't misfire, yet have misfire values on the table. Why? Is this a mistake?

I can't say why they have a misfire entry on the table, but they definitely don't misfire.
PROOF

Edit: Maybe to show that they still misfire when broken, adding 4 to whatever the number on the table is?

Wouldn't it be listed as 0 then (with it becoming 4 when broken)?

My money is on copy and paste error.

Gotta be a typo. Otherwise I would say they only misfire when using the special alchemical cartridges like entangling shot.

A slight overlook: The PDF says that advanced firearms do not misfire, but in the next page the table lists the misfire range for the three advance firearms.

If we concur that advanced firearms do not misfire, we can ignore then the misfire increase for using alchemical cartridges, right?

That is correct. They do not misfire, and there is no misfire increase for using alchemical cartridges.
