Paper cartidges

Gunslinger Discussion: Round 2

Paper Cartridge: This simple mix of black powder and
either pellets or a bullet increases the misfire value by 1.
Cost: 12 gp.

Presumably this should be reduce instead of increase? Seems like a poor use of 12 gp otherwise.

It makes reloading the gun faster, and it is 12 sp if you make it.

EDIT: It costs 11 gp for black powder and a bullet (ll silver if you craft). You are only spending +1 gold (+1 silver).

Earlier it talks about the cartridges, they reduce reload time so increasing miss fire is worth the risk.

Edit: man got ninja'd :(

Thats what i missed, that a paper cartridge counts as an alchemical cartridge. Thanks

This threw me off at first too. I had to re-read it a couple of times before I caught the increase in missfire value was to balance out the decrease in reload time.
