I need help with a fresh 1st lvl Druid and its bear companions ac. Core states: +2 natural armor. But, what does that leave me with? Ac 2 seems ridiculous. I assume that it gets added to the PCs base 10 for a total of 12?
And does the bears dex of 15 get factored in as well for then 14? That would lend the cheetahs dex 21 a nice touch...

Calculating it from a character sheet, I get AC 15:
10 (Base) + 2 (Dex) + 2 (Natural) +1 (Size)
You can also get your bear masterwork studded leather armor. Even with no proficiency, you take the armor check penalty on some skills and attacks, but since normal studded leather has an ACP of 1, masterwork has an acp of 0: free armor, no proficiency needed.
Thanks guys, that settles that. But, is that 21 Dex on the cheetah a misprint or serious? That would be quite the Dex-Bonus for the little cats...

If you want outrageous stats look at the deinochus/ velociraptor. It's FASTER than the cheetah.

Or, if cash is an issue, just get it Leather Armor. Only +2 AC, but the same lack of Feats needed and a fraction of the cost (possibly even available out of starting wealth).
