Amulet of Mighty Fists

Rules Questions

Can you use the Guided magical ability on this amulet and would it count for a monk's unarmed strikes?

The Guided ability is found in Curse of the Crimson Throne AP.

I don't have access to that book, but unless the ability is a ranged weapon only property, like seeking or distance, it should work just fine on an AoMF.

Cool, thanks!

And no, it is not a ranged weapon ability.

Yes

1). Isn’t “guided” a “weapon enhancement”? How can you enhance an amulet?
2) even if you allow a weapon enhanacement to apply to an amulet, I thought unarmed strikes aren’t technically considered “weapons”
3) even if unarmed strikes are considered “weapons”, they’re not considered “melee weapons” are they?

1) Amulet of Mighty Fists is specifically enchantable with weapon enchantments, and applies those enchantments to your unarmed and natural weapon attacks.

2) See above.

3) They are melee weapons, but not manufactured weapons.

Silver Crusade

3) *** see the related, but class specific, monk ability Unarmed Strike —those strikes can count as natural or manufactured for a number of effects.

Eight years just might be my best sale yet!
