The flavor and mechanics of the Ninja present it as a sneaky assassin for hire. Funny enough there is already a sneaky assassin class called Assassin. I understand the Ninja is a full 20 level class where the Assassin is only 10 Levels, and that has great appeal. My issues comes at the fact that you must be any evil alignment to be able to go into the Assassin class, but there is now alignment restriction on Ninjas. Now I'm not saying that all ninjas are inherently evil. What I mean to point out is the continuity issue that is present here. I personally think that there shouldn't be an alignment restriction on either class. I have had length conversations with my GM about this. He believes in the alignment restriction, because anyone that kills for money must fall in the evil end of the pool. I understand this, but put forth the idea of an any non-good alignment restriction. I sited Leon for "The Professional". I don't believe one could call him evil. Now I understand that one could build the Ninja to be not so assassiny, but overall the Ninja class is a sneaky assassin type. I just would like to see the continuity error addressed by PF. Again I'm not saying Ninjas must be evil. I am just saying that if an assassin has to, so should a ninja. Thanks for your time.
