Scarab Sages

No mice in my trap! Damn!

Scarab Sages

But, in another cubicle, a trap got sprung last night. Trap was empty, though, so the little bastard got away.

Scarab Sages

And, ha! The dude who set the other traps was telling me I positioned my wrong. HA! Mine's got 12 kills buddy. And now one of yours failed to get the job done!

Scarab Sages

Good point, Frank.

Scarab Sages

Time to hit a few other threads.

Perhaps we will finish Irovetti this Sunday in Jess' Kingmaker campaign. Gabriel thinks he might have run away like the coward he is, back to Numeria.

Scarab Sages

Kick his ass! KICK HIS ASS!!!

Scarab Sages

Scarab Sages

Did you ever get the feeling you were being watched?

Scarab Sages

That the eyes of strange things were upon you?

Scarab Sages

Not sure if I really want to be at work today.

Scarab Sages

I ca't use my Droid on my graveyard shift anymore.

:(

Now this, this is death.

The stench of death is strong in here.

No, no, I was wrong. It's just the puffin after his all-night mackerel binge. Carry on.

How to make a Slip 'n Slide a little bit more exciting for the kids? Add vegetable oil, and watch 'em really slide. Hehe

Why?

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Your Droid will have to wait outside. We don't serve their kind here.

Silver Crusade

Morning all. What did I miss?

"The e-mail couldn't be sent because the server is busy right now. Please try again later."

Sure, no problem - but it's been busy for over two days now, flippin' Hotmail. GRRRRRR

Well, with Sarah's imminent return from the depths of the Amazon jungles, Scott was busy destroying the evidence from his brief time as a bachelor. Meanwhile, Max was astonished to learn that his landlord was actually the long-lost clone of the late, great silent movie actor Lon Chaney. And, across town, a horde of angry mimes descended on....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

hi everyone

Heya aeglos.

Hi all;

GAME DAY WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

In other news - after a week of semi-hilarity at the hospital in Fargo, ND (a real place, I promise) I stumbled upon a stack of 2nd ed AD&D books. Bought the PHB, DMG, Monstrous Manual, and an old screen for $30.00 and am thinking of going back to it as my standby.

I have a friend that prefers AD&D 2, RuneQuest II, and Champions IV as a DM. He will play the newer systems if someone else is running them.

Stay away from the woodchipper!

Hi Nathan, it's been a while since you posted here, right?

How's Mildred?

It HAS been a while.

And Mildred is still evil. Evil evil evil. She want's attention but doesn't know the right way to get it... so she waits until oh, say 2 AM and explodes onto the bed, leaps onto my chest (legs out wide, ears laid back, tail poofed up) and warbles. Terrible creature.

i should prepare for tonights game, but somehow I can't get in the mood to do it .-(

Dark Archive

Maybe watch a little fantasy to get a little amped up Conan, Sword and the Sorcerer or something simular?

I miss 2nd ed AD&D the most. The game ran smooth, which is a big problem for my group with all things 3.X - combat takes too dang long.

ahhh prep time, the bane of my existence. I try to do it in one big batch, then ad lib the hell out of what I end up playing.

I do not miss 2nd edition at all. Gorram stupid THACO. :/

I didn't really start to do well with the game until 3rd edition came out. There were things that went more smoothly during play in 2nd, but I am very thankful we were able to adapt our play style to make our current game more streamlined and having that kind of play style without using a system I could never get the hang of. Ditching the minis helped that a ton.

Trying to get all of yesterday's stuff and all of today's stuff done today...this is going about as well as you might imagine.

I miss the no-magic-mart no-prices-for magic-item part of 2e.
I loved to make unique magic items, it was my favorite thing about DMing

off to game now

Let me guess. Mildred is a cat?
