All I can think of now is Chicken Run. Good film.
Soooooo... Get up to much on the weekend...? I fail at small talk...

I'm very, very sorry. I've been taking some medication to help with moderate depression, and I haven't been motivate to post in any of my games. The game isn't dead, but I need some time to get some energy back. I'll try to pick things back up friday.

Horatio Aldebrandt |

As someone who's been suffering depression for seven years, I can sympathize. I know how hard it can get at times, and I hope the meds help you out. Take care of yourself, mate. I know I'll be here when you're ready, and I'm sure everyone else will be, too. I'm glad the game isn't dead, and I hope you're ready to come back to us soon.

Pavanna Alazario |

As will I. I’ve already waited so long to play in a Pathfinder campaign, much less a Runelords campaign, that I can stand to wait longer for it to continue. Just stay well, GM. ;)
In the meantime? Heh, well — if Horatio ever takes Perform (Oratory) to use hands-free Bardic Performance, I’ve got a textbook Rousing Speech for him: check this out. :P
(For the record: the visuals are from an anime called Girls und Panzer. Imagine the typical ‘high school sport’ anime series... only the ‘sport’ is (non-lethal) tank warfare. O.O)

Horatio Aldebrandt |

That speech gave me goosebumps, and I've bookmarked it for later pilfering :D And the anime? Oh man, I may have to check that out.
If you check, our dashing bard actually has a rank in Perform (oratory) already; the violin is more for roleplaying reasons - he's pretty attached to it, as right now, it's all he has of home, etc. As it starts to gimp him more, I'll have him stop relying on it, but really, he's too arrogant at this stage to see it being a problem. ;-)
I figure with that bonus skill point, I can level up other perform skills. Strings will stay top priority, but especially with Versatile Performance, there's no reason not to level other perform skills here and there. (Which reminds me, I need to ask our DM a couple of questions about that class feature, but all things considered, now's not a good time).
I've already picked out this as soothing performance (because really, what else could it be?), and I've been listening extensively to my folk metal collection for more good tunes. Inis Mona by Eluveitie is something I could see him playing, and no tavern would be complete without some Korpiklaani.

Streaming free, although the ads can be a little intrusive. (The DVDs are still in the works. :-/) Be warned, though: a lot of the setting runs on ‘Rule of Cool’, so if you’re a compulsive nitpicker, it’ll probably make your head explode. :D

Horatio Aldebrandt |

I'll be sure to give it a watch sometime soon! :)

Olivius just laughs and starts singing about trolls for some reason.
Trolololol! :P
I don't know why but now I got this song stuck in my head

I just wanted to let you guys know, you seem an interesting group of players and I plan on starting two campaigns on the boards soon. I hope to have the recruitments up either today or tomorrow.
Since I have seen you guys in action I would definitely be willing to give any of you a near free guaranteed pass into any of the two if your interested.

Akisame Koetsuji |

I am putting together two.
One is a desert campaign similar to the AP Legacy of Fire. Mine is homebrew. This one features an excusion into a great desert in search of riches. It is modeled after Arabian and Egyptian cultures using a good sum of those mythos.
The Second is similar to some degree to Serpent Skull but again, I do much better when running a homebrew. This one is more of a survival game. The enemy are a lizard people called Saurians who are taking over the region the players live in and destroying everything. The region is a massive prehistoric style land with lots of dinosaurs and Megafauna.
I love to GM when it is my own ideas I am putting out and both these campaigns are almost three years old so they have been used a lot. A lot of players compliment my creativity and say I do a great job and coming up with intricate and detailed stories.
That said, I pride myself on coming up with two very playable and well written campaigns.
The first of these will have it's recruitment up later tonight.

Akisame Koetsuji |

Okay the first recruitment is up. Sorry it took so long, I was working on another project last night. Here is the URL Souls of Lost Aridia Recruitment
The above is the desert campaign I mentioned. I will try and have the recruitment for the Dinosaur camapaign up later.
I am not accustom to running more than five players in a game so you all might not make it into the same one. I may spread you guys around a bit as you apply.
Remember I am big on character themes and story more than builds. So focus more on that element of your characters.

AdamWarnock |

Sorry Folks. It seems that I've managed to burn myself out on Pathfinder. I've almost zero motivation to play right now, and I need to step away. I'll be back someday and I'll try to stoke this game up again. (I'll assume that you manage to trounce the remaining goblins with little damage to yourselves.) Let me take some time to get my head together and then we can jump back into the fray.

Pavanna Alazario |

What Saroune said. This was the first time I ever really got to role-play a character and get into their head, and wow. I’m not sure how she came across to anyone else, but from my side of her character-sheet, Pavanna was a riot to play! :D GM, when you’re feeling better and this campaign gets resurrected, she’ll be ready and waiting.

Horatio Aldebrandt |

I've been loving this game like you wouldn't believe. I'm in the same boat as Pavanna - holy cow, I could just role-play Horatio all day, not roll any dice at all, and be perfectly happy. I love this party, and I love this game.
It looks like we'll all miss you, DM. You take care of yourself, and get your head sorted out. I know first-hand what depression's like, and we all cope with it differently, so you do what you need to do. If these posts are any indication, we'll all be waiting right here when your head-space permits you to pick this up again. And if any of you lot want to chat about anything at all, hit me up; I don't have much to do with my time right now, and hey, if you're as great as your characters, you're all awesome people.
Hugs and support from Australia, DM. I'll be waiting for you when you're ready for us again.

Shanosuke |

For those of you who would be willing to join another campaign, I have opened my second recruitment at last. Curse of the Old Ones This is the dinosaur campaign.
Also if you are still interested in the Desert campaign, here is the link again. Souls of Lost Aridia
I hope you guys consider. I think you are all great role players and I will give you all special consideration.

AdamWarnock |

Okay, I owe you guys many, many, many apologies, but if you guys are willing, I would love to continue this game I need to know if you want to Continue form where we left off or if you'd like to reboot the campaign as it were.
Again sorry for leaving this to languish for so long.

Olivius Telraven |

Adam! You're back! I'm so happy!
Ahem....
I mean, I would love to continue this. It's some of the best RP ever. This Olivius is actually in another campaign now, but I'll re-create him in another alias tonight, if the others are also willing.

Horatio Aldebrandt |

Okay, I'm currently grinning so widely, it's pulling on the stitches where my wisdom teeth used to be. Ow.
I'm currently playing Horatio in two other campaigns - one of which is another Rise of the Runelords game, which complicates things somewhat. (For the record, he still doesn't get along with fighters.)
That said... This was my first PBP, and I loved the role play we all had here. I grew attached to this very quickly, and had big plans. And hell, nothing wrong with making a third alias for a character, right...?
And mate, as far as I'm concerned, you owe no apologies. You had s%$* to deal with, and it sounds like you've dealt with it and are in a much happier, more stable place now, which I'm happy for.

Yesh, no need to injure yourself! I am happy to report I am doing better on that front and I'm officially out of the nest. (I have the bills to prove it.)
As for the characters, I'm still not sure if we'll be continuing or rebooting. In either case, you're more than welcome to have a go at creating a new character if you wish, there may just be some retcons. ;)

Horatio Aldebrandt |

What, and break the heart of my favourite meat-shield up there? I'll stick with what I've got! Sure, it's one more alias, but this character is worth it :D
