I'm superstitious about this sort of thing, so I'm a bit hesitant to say this, but I can't focus on anything else for being on the edge of my seat:
I've been in hospital with a lung infection for the past two weeks, and today my lung numbers are very improved so I fully expect to be discharged today. *Knocks hard on wood* I'm just waiting for a doctor to give the official go-ahead, and they are taking their sweet-ass time about it...
Anyway, it's been a rough two weeks. I've been hospitalized for longer stretches (one month is my record), but due to really wanting to get home and my pulmonary doctor being on a totally different page than I, I was really gray and despondent for a few days last week. It was really great to know that FAWTL was here to provide a little distraction and interaction.
So thanks, all. :)
Np, we’re always happy to provide entertainment (the heckling between Gran and Vidmaster7 is great), both of them should run their own entertainment show =) I hope you get discharged soon too.

I do it even more hardcore. Face hunter = win by turn 7 or go home lol. And face hunter is my default form these days after Baku paladins were nerfed due to level up being changed to 6 cost.
Good luck with the temp job, and if you need a listening ear, we have lots of ears available, Kjeldorn.
And Limey, actually I wouldn’t mind learning how to do the fisticuffs thing. One reason why I think weapons work is not very practical is because due to the stringent laws here, you can’t carry weapons in the street. Whereas you always have your fists and feet with you.

This morning, I did my run in 25-degree weather in a balaclava.
Then I got scared that one of my neighbors would get freaked that someone was running through the neighborhood in a balaclava before dawn and call the cops. Which would have been so awkward. No one did. It was probably because you don't look very scary in a Winnie-the-Pooh sweatshirt no matter what's on your head.

SUCCESS! I finally registered for the Fort Worth Zoo run (the race just happens to be the exact same day as the last day of my training program, so it counts as my "final"), posted it on FB just to give myself no-backing-out-now accountability, and within half an hour, three girlfriends all said they wanted to sign up and run it with me!
I HAVE FRIENDS! Not just internet friends, but DOING THINGS TOGETHER FRIENDS! It only took eight months!

EDIT: Seriously. The CL check on Remove Disease and Neutralize Poison make you burn SO many 3rd and 4th level spells for something so minor. One of my HUGE aggravations among the PF spells...
Maybe I've been spoiled from years of playing Neverwinter Nights where the CL check isn't a thing, but I've long since houseruled away the check on both those spells except in the cases of the really nasty bastardly diseases such as mummy rot, soul rot, etc. Everything else, the spell just auto-succeeds.

Yes! Go for it! Running is better when all your friends are doing it with you!
Now about running 5 km bit, don't push yourself too fast at the start. Because you're doing the long haul. Keep a steady pace, slow down if you need to, then pick up the pace once you've recovered.

Well I am being discharged, but it is six hours later and they haven't quite booted me out the door yet...sigh.
So in the meantime, some thoughts about the Wheel of Time:
The Ajahs are kinda inconsistent, a lot like schools of magic. Like some of them kinda make sense, Yellow is about healing, grays are negotiators. But some ajahs are kind of a whole other class of thing, like reds are basically stereotypical lesbian man-haters and greens are free-lovin' free spirits (and also the battle ajah). And blues are all about...'causes', as if that's a distinct and unified thing?
Ajahs are a social clubs/groups that are tied by shared ideology/philosophy/purpose, that's why their individual themes vary wildly. You can have a crime fiction club, you can have a lesbian BDSM club, you can have licensed MD club, you can have stamp-collectors club.

It took seven hours, but I am free!!!
The last hour was because a doctor told my nurse that my IV antibiotic was done and finished, yet didn't give her the order to remove my picc line, and me going "Uh so if I don't need my picc anymore, shouldn't you, like, take it out before I leave?" (A picc line is an IV that goes thru an arm and directly into your heart.)
OMG balaclavas are so cool! I wanna wear a black one then go around in head to toe black! Then I'll look like a ninja!
I don't like wearing my balaclava, but that's because it's part of a beekeeper-like work uniform. And when I have to wear it, I have to wear it regardless of how hot it is.
Come to think of it, it's gotten pretty sweaty and could use a wash.

John is absolutely right, I do owe Vidmaster an apology.
Not only for being an a&#*++& today, but for all the times I've made fun of his grammar and spelling previously, it was a dick move and I'm sorry.
Alright man I'll accept that apology. I might still take a bit not responding to your posts to make sure I don't have any negativeness coming through. I didn't mind the jokes to much and I know its a flaw, but the last one felt more malicious then joking around. I appreciate the apology. I'll chalk it up to stress.
Hope your days get a stress reduction.

I think I've already been over this but my fiance made me get one. The best part is she can't complain when I ignore her for the phone because she got it for me and I warned her.

I've been trying to understand this note for a while tonight. A guest is checking in tomorrow, and wants an extra blanket. Fine, no problem. But he wants it delivered after he's checked in, not put in his room beforehand. That's where I'm getting confused.
He wants it freshly washed? Or he has promised his GF to have a blanket delivered to her when they're in the room?

Being delivered before or after check-in won't affect when it is washed. And the girlfriend thing makes no sense to me.

It is unlikely that I would be the one delivering it. Or that I would be smiling if I am.
