Yes, there's nothing quite so irritating as whittling an opponent down to single digits using careful tactics, only to have them bounce back to 30 using Reno.

...After googling the Hall of Fame, why is Reno not in it?! He is obnoxious.

Or winning the whole game only to get OTK by some crazy combo that literally just knocks your cloths right off you.

When one of my Grandpas died, we found 2 boxes of ammo that confused us. Grandpa had an old .22 and a pair of .30-06s. So, why did he have two boxes of 7.92x57mm with Russian-style (Cyrilic?) writing that seemed to imply they were made in Ethiopia in 1957? As far as I know my Dad still has them somewhere.
Weird. If it were twenty-odd years later, I would have assumed they were made for the war in Afghanistan.
Do they look like that? Then it's simply Ethiopian writing.

Nope. Definitely looked more Russian.

I think the worst I've ever felt about a game was a frost mage that literally never gave me a turn to do anything until he finally killed me with a combo. I think another combo deck or a charge deck would of beat him. Then of course there is surprise mechachtun. Which at some point does become obvious. Hmm hes drawn a lot and hasn't done anything that is awful suspicious. but then what can you really do about it but try and kill them faster?

Ya usually if they seem to be stalling for time it's likely they're preparing a supercombo in their hands to use against you.

You want to dig in cash? That's odd.

Or did you possibly mean borrow?

Also, it's possible that he's a football player.

Yeah, in wild you need to have a "win-condition" it cannot be 'put pressure on with good boards' or even really a zerg rush. Well these can work, but there's too many options out there for victory - from Kingsbane/Mecha-thuun/Quest or Freeze Mage or my favourite CthunWock.

And since Reno was rotating out they never had to Hall of Fame it (btw remember to craft this years Hall of Fame entries for free cards (dust refund & keep cards)).

Just having good cards can work sometimes but not against those with dedicated 'win-conditions'.

Anyway today I managed to get on the waiting list for body pump but since waiting list only opens for you to go in 5 min before class starts, so by the time I got there, all those 1 kg weights were taken up. Usually I load 3.5 kg per side, on the barbells, but since no 1kg plates, so I loaded the 5 kg plate per side instead. Clean and press got very interesting. Ow!

(Usually I perform it with 3.5 kg per side)

Overhead press - eh I don't think I can do 5 kg per side, I'd need to drop to 2.5kg per side.

I know I can do 5 kg per side on anything involving legs but once it involves upper body work it's not easy for me.

I think that is a common thing that I have heard among females. Upper body strength from what I hear tends to be harder, but apparently you can get those legs and hips to scary a bit easier.

Haha Limey. No the last time we worked out with tyres, we were doing push-ups on them. And hoping in and out of them. But gosh, the tyres are heavy. At least the bigger ones. Next time I'm moving them, I'll roll them instead of trying to lift them around.

Oof, an entire game with a frozen board? That blows.

Yesterday I was matched against a warrior who recruited Mecha'Thun out of his deck, and it was hilarious. I had a couple of taunts in hand, so it wasn't even hard to deal with the 10/10 body. :D

Zelda's vehicle only has to last one more drive...

The engine has a hole in it that I can see through.

She just replaced a wheel bearing.

The driver's side window won't roll up/down. It will fall down quite nicely, so there's a lot of tape holding it up. Replacing the actuator might take care of it, but we did that on the passenger side and it's such a pain. And it still doesn't work *well*.

The suspension is shot. Seriously shot - it just hasn't collapsed yet. I fully expect the next pothole to be the killing blow.

Replaced the thermostat.

Need to replace a sensor on the rear passenger door - the car thinks the rear door is open, randomly. When the vehicle is off it turns on the car alarm. The car alarm has since been removed.

The entire brake system is needing to be replaced.

When she took her dear vehicle to get the wheel bearing replaced she was told "Ok, so you want the price on just replacing the bearing, or to make the truck actually safe to drive?"

This is all just in the last year.

So on Saturday we went out armed with her tax return to look at decent used vehicles. She picks up her new used vehicle (in remarkably good shape, honestly) tonight.

She's very excited, but sad to see her old beast go. Even in as bad of shape as it's in, it still has not stranded her anywhere. Somehow.

I'm excited because now I won't be concerned for her safety when she drives to her mom's or even with her 35 mile work commute.

Yeah, and this just makes me sad. My favorite playstyle is careful board control and steadily whittling my opponent down to 0. Which is maybe more practicable in Standard?

I tried Standard when Witchwood came out, but going from my huge collection down to just a few expansions had me clawing at the walls. Maybe it's time to try again...
