Naked totp for the totp!

caught up with thread *wipes sweat from brow*

today a bunch of Co-Workers "from the city" come to visit my hometown.
I give them the grand tour, we have dinner, drink and spend the night at a hotel - me too, because I would have to drive and could not drink.

the women I am dating will come too and I ordered a double room
*looks innocent*
she knows I did, but did not say if she will stay or drive back home

Sounds like fun. And . . . good luck.

I wouldn't mow if we didn't have to worry about inspectors.

If I had my way, all the grass would be cut for hay, then the stubble burnt. Then I would seed native grasses.

Liberty's Edge

Smoky the Bear has a lot to answer for.

I think I'll go home now. I mean to bed. (Brain misfires like that are a good sign that it's time to sleep.)

Good night/morning, Aeglos.

Whee! I didn't link so I'm not responsible.

In retrospect, I shoulda posted that in Troll Town.

[Facepalm]

What an excellent idea!

Time to get my groove on. Gorgeous day, time for a intensive lawncare day! I'll catch you folks laterz!

Enjoy, Patrick!

My entire family is in town again this weekend. We are going to do something in Atlanta, but we haven't quite decided yet.

There's nothing to do in Hotlanta.

I'm getting outside to cut up and bundle brush for pickup before it gets too hot. I miss being able to burn. I know, environment, yada yada. I even got asthma from burning. But damn was it handy.

House cleaning, bills, and finishing some stuff at the new store are on the agenda for the rest of the weekend. I have to prep for the game on Sunday night, too. Honestly, gaming is starting to take so much time, I'm not sure if I can keep running.

I hope you find lots of stuff Taig. After I wrote the last bit I remembered I was supposed to go visit my daughter. Who lives off cape. On July Fourth weekend. Guh. I am soo screwed >.<

Alton Brown, naturally. Although shamus may break into the top 20 one day.
Okay, now Shamus Young or Pixar?

I'd say Pixar. Shamus Young is just that, young, and may not understand the height and breadth of his sins.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Well, thank the gods I knew a little-known path to the bridge. I mananged to dodge the 5-mile backup on the highway and get home in one hour flat =)

I lost my map from last session!

Dark Archive

Had to work 10 hours last night, it was sooooo stupidly busy. I now have to work 9 hours tonight, and I also discovered the cat has fleas, so monday I have to get it some flea medicine while I do a major house cleaning.

Environment yada yada?:

<Stabs Smoky the Bear in foot.> This is all your fault! (It's actually not, but stabbing him is releasing.)

Fire is a natural part of many ecosystems. Burning brush isn't actually that bad, because that carbon was already in the cycle. Only fossil fuels introduce "new" carbon to the carbon cycle.

It used to be that farmers in Oregon could use fire to clear fields. Now, so many people live here (and thus many people with respiratory disorders) that farmers get a lot of flak for burning (and some so-called environmentalist nuts complain too [If they were complaining about pesticides and fertilisers going up, I wouldn't mind, but grass seed farmers hardly need to use any chemicals.]) Burning is the most economic way to remove weeds and stubble, but now they have to use pesticides instead.

Air stagnation is a problem in the Willamette Valley lately due to increased population and wonky weather. We have a time when we can't burn, though farmers go by different rules. (I believe it's started now, but since we had a wet spring the burn season was extended.) The legislature has effectively banned burning by now, as farmers have little voice.

You're not sure if you can keep the game running? <Disappointed>

I have determined that my clock is almost exactly one hour and 13 minutes fast.

Liberty's Edge

Also, I made raspberry muffins this morning. It took me about an hour. Had to collect the "ingredients."

The Exchange

Spent the morning 'accessorizing' the Beast. New pillion seat and removable sissy bar/luggage rack installed. Still need to put the engine guard and highway pegs on, but that's for another day.

Also cleaned up the removable windshield and wiped down all the road dust/bug gut accumulation of the last month or so. (Got to damn hot to actually wash it, maybe tomorrow before Kingmaker.)

The Exchange

Wow slow even for a Saturday...I got caught up.

The Exchange

Even read the feminist rant, that was not posted. Seems to me someone needs some BTTH. Just my strait white male opinion. I am sure she would disagree with anything I said or did or the fact that I live and breath. c'est la vie.

The Exchange

How is everyone? Good I hope.

The Exchange

Hint: never go to a multi-hour event in a Catholic church where the air conditioning is broke and it is 100+ outside.

The Exchange

Youngest son will be back for boy scout camp soon.

Oldest is still there as part of staff for the next two weeks. If you missed my facebook rants on it....they armed him. 50 cal. muzzle loader. I fear greatly. ;)

The Exchange

Going to spend the day with my nephew, the one who needs to get his head out his bottom. He is going to force me to watch a Micheal Bay film. Good thoughts and prayers are welcomed. ;)

Sczarni

Howdy, all.

Sure is a beautiful day here. I sure am happy to be able to spend 12 hours of it at work, stuck in a box with no windows.

I tried to stop reading. I think it was hypnotising in its extremism and ignorance (uninformed-ness).

Made a new map--and promptly found the old one in my steward's organizer. I swear, one of these days, I'm going to go before a local-level hearing and accidentally dump character sheets all over the place!

Insider dope:

Spoiler:
Yeah I had to cross through Wareham and take the canal road up to where that little feeder lane goes up to the Sagamore Bridge (the one that forces the two-lane highway down to one lane up at the end of Rte 3 >.<. Surprisingly mild traffic, compared to the massive snarls I saw on both 3 and 495 coming on those ways...

Adam Felber was pretty f!@@ing awesome today. He was not only funny, but he got EIGHT correct answers! That's gotta be some sort of record. (It felt like ten. Peter Sagal was setting them up, and he was knocking them down. He was unsure about the last question, but he still won it. He might be my new favourite panelist, though I felt sorry for Roy Blount, Jr., who wasted time in Lightning Fill in the Blank to be funny.)

I strongly suggest you use this site. You can save everything you randomly create on your computer desktop and I'm sure printing things out isnt' that hard with the average printer nowadays.

As usual, Radio Lab is very good today. Talking about the nature of selflessness.

Howdy folks. Hope my fellow FAWTLYs are having a good day. Mine wasn't too bad, but could have been better. The wife was complaining this morning about not having enough time to herself, so I took the boy and went to the mall.

Stopped for lunch at 5 Guys and while there got a call from Geek Squad that my netbook had been cured of its virus. Huzzah!

At Best Buy, come to find out one of the papers the dude had me sign was saying I didn't want the extra data back up. So, they reset it to factory settings and it works great. But now I lost all the up-to-date files for my Kingmaker Campaign.

Now I have to hope that the guy in my group who actually developed the kingdom spreadsheet we'd been using has been keeping it up to date.

Also took Charlie for a walk in the park - I think he liked it. He didn't know what to make of the geese.

Ouch, that sucks.

I recently started doing all my prep / storage on Google Docs, for this very reason.

Fast, easy, can share/collaborate very easily - I highly recommend you give it a try if you haven't yet.
