Hmmm... it seems my new city in which i will be residing is somewhat close to North Dakota, and Montana. I wonder if there`s anything interesting to see in those states.
Well then you are close enough if we ever do a FaWTL Minnesota gathering.:)

Mmmmmm.....
Is this an idle hope or does AP sometimes go nude?
'Cos if the latter, I'm going to start watching!
Dude, pretty much full on single X (or NC-17 if you ewanna get all prissy).

Watched Red River with John Wayne and Montgomery Clift again last night. It's awesome, of course. I think I generally prefer the Howard Hawks-directed flicks to the John Ford ones (although I like JF, too).
Anyway, what was the big deal about Brokeback Mountain again?

Probably all the sheep-shagging innuendo. I know that sort of thing isn't commented on on Gotland, but the rest of us kinda think that's one step too far. The poor beasts have no way of expressing their non-consensuality after all.

Look at those scarves. They know how to accessorize.

I had never noticed that before.

Woo! Happy Birthday!
Burn ban in effect. No fireworks for me.
They threatened us with one, then we had a torrential downpour last night and a flood warning. Now fireworks are ON!!

The sexual subtexts (and ambiguities) in this scene are pretty undeniable.
Yes well, it was subtext. Not the main theme of the story.

Rsp: Order of the Stick.
Rich has off and on Health issues and while he was trying to stay ahead by making new episodes way in advance. It might have caught up with him. If so it might be a bit before we have much more than a guest comic or two.
thanks (also to wolfthulu)
sad to hear :-( I was not aware of this

No, the main theme was one man's obsessions with cows.
Pretty sick, if you ask me, but I try to be non-judgmental.
Still, bovine-love aside, one of my favorite westerns and probably my fave with ol' John Wayne.
"Take 'em to Missouri!"
we are all judgmental, it just the level in which we choose to be expressive about it. Honestly if I piped up more few people would be able to stand me, and I would seem a huge hypocrite.
The Duke will always be the exemplar of the cowboy model.

If you ever get bored he has a blog on the site. He goes into it a little, while still trying to be private about the specifics.

I was sure he mentioned it at some point. It might be a year or two old by now.

Little drama here at work. One of my employees has decided to be a b&&%@ and play us all against each other for her amusement. She also likes to watch ME on the security cam to see what i do all day. And she has started hitting ctrl v on teh computer to see what I may have copy or pasted. So teh last thing I copy and pasted was
'This copy and pasted message is not for you. ' Think she'll get the message?
