I may not be able to understand a damn word but I think Freehold DM will like this one.
I don't understand a word but I like it too.

That's all, carry on. Just wanted to get that out of the way.
Your lack of English is showing again.
It's a "fantasy" of liking three young ladies singing while being naked, not a "fate".

a) It does not in any way saves me from fantasy of liking three young ladies singing while being naked.
b) When in public view such "fantasy" would be "fate", or possibly even "doom".

Anytime. My three talents are allcaps nonsense, playing a heel, and taking on the fates that other people don't want.

There's a translation of the lyrics halfway down the comments, copied and pasted here. Enjoy.
Next to me right now
“It was a mistaken love”
I don’t want to think such things
Making a dark face on the other side of the table
Frightened of the words to start talking
From just when did we
Continue to pretend
We didn’t recognize these feelings
Like the day we met
In that transparent wind
If it can be fixed then
I want to hold you
One more time
A single flower petal is swaying
Next to me right now
“It was a mistaken love”
I don’t want to think such things
I should have loved you
So much that I always wanted to hear your voice
Despite this, it became like I couldn’t see
The “you” my hand reached to
“I’m fine” then we endured
Surely it was our fault
“I always want to be with you”
Although I thought this
It turned into a reality where we just passed each other by
Like the day we met
That gentle smile
I thought I would be able to get it back
I want to embrace it
A single flower petal is swaying
Next to me right now
“It was a mistaken love”
I don’t want to think such things
Keeping silent, your palms
wiped the tears that struggled on
Rewind the time
of this “us”…
A single flower petal danced and fell
Next to me right now
It was a mistaken love
There’s no way I’ll be able to forget it
I loved you, I loved you
So much that now I want to hold on to you
Despite this, it became like I couldn’t see
The “you” my hand reached to

Okay.
The 100 has, at least somewhat, impressed me.
I still disagree with a lot of it, and I really don't like some of it, but I really like some of the continued characterization.
Some of the early characterizations were poor on occasion (partially, probably, to set up "red herring" style concepts), but, even as the show has hit number 11 of the first season, everyone has grown and grown both believably and well.
The various characterizations are impressive, and, while I don't like some of them, I at least empathize with them many times.
And the tragedies and misunderstandings are the worst part, but very human and mostly compelling.

SILLY BUGGAH.
I WOULD 'AVE DONE IT FOR:
2 X PACKETS OF PORK SCRATCHINGS
3 X PINTS OF SAMUEL SMITH'S OATMEAL STOUT
£5.50 FOR HEXPENSES.
WHILE SINGING 'DO YOUR BALLS HANG LOW?' HALL THE WHILE IN A RICH, FRUITY BARITONE VOICE.

Well to be fair they dated.
To be fair there was alcohol involved.
Note Aragon, min max puff that he is, has taken a level of Gunslinger.

Come on, guys. You're letting me down. I didn't create my AMV thread just for myself, you know. And don't be afraid to favorite the ones you like. How else will I know what's working? Sheesh, people. :) *rant ends*
You should see the barrenness of my Ask thread, or my Iron Gods Extravaganza thread, or my customer service threads. The only thread I started to gain any traction was my Fallout Rampage thread.
If you keep posting, they will come.

I was more talking locally. If I'm going all the way to New York it's not to murder a rodent. Though taking him out drinking with Freehold isn't out of the question. :-)

Or maybe there wasn't enough cabbage in the bribe. After all, the Winter Sports industry is very powerful. And I meant actual cabbage. :)

So. Gaming idea I thought I would bring up here before anywhere else in order to get some feedback.
One of the biggest fights I have gotten into with players as a DM and vice versa has been over the use of charm person. One of my more argumentative players has put forth the idea that different people find different things charming and that there should be some kind of bonus to determine whether or not someone is charmed if they are in front of a broad enough audience. Normally I disagree with him, but considering that we are both very different people with very different ideas of what we would consider "charming" I couldn't help but note that the had a point. So here's what I was thinking.
In an old, old game, we decided that charm person would give someone a +20 to all their Diplomacy and Bluff checks they still had to roll after a certain...incident...with a player who was trying to create a character who never had to touch the dice because he was having a shit fit after a past bad experience in game. Natural 1s and 20s were treated normally, ignoring a house rule that otherwise affected them. What I was thinking of doing was halving that bonus to +10 if in front of an audience of 2 people, +7 in front of an audience of 3, +5 in front of an audience of 4 and so on until a minimum of +1 in front to an audience of 20- it has no effect on groups of larger than 20 people.
Does this sound like a good idea? It keeps people from casting charm person constantly and puts real definable and limited bonuses on checks.
Sane? Insane? Something else? Let me know.

My immediate feedback, if the target is both friendly and subject to a bonus (I'm not sure if this is a good idea, just what I had thinking about the espoused concept) is a +1 bonus/CL, but -1 per "audience member" nearby. This preserves the idea that you get better as you level, but also allows for the "different in front of people" concept; and that stacking penalty could even be a more general rule.

Thanks.

Oh, and if you're bored, you MUST read the kids' Serpent's Skull thread. If you think YOUR group behaves in a dysfunctional manner, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Yeah, I logged onto Paizo to look up some random mechanics rules for the kids' game (they just leveled up to 3), then remembered that you said you were going to have to write an obit for Nora, then found myself stalking your post list, which got creepy.
What I really want to figure out how to do is to start a game journal for the kids' Sandpoint n00b campaign.

You want creepy? Stalk Captain Yesterday's post list.
Seriously, though, just click on a topic and you'll see "Add New Thread". If you need any help I'll show you on Saturday.
(And yes, I am happy to report that one of my players has finally appeared on the boards, and is actually posting! It must be armageddon!)

It's embarrassing when I keep no notes other than math ones and I have to ask my husband for details on what happened when. Never thought I'd actually feel grateful for his obsessive note-taking and rules-lawyering. (Hey, you've GM'd him for years, you know what I mean.)
