And now back to home.

A lot of traffic, must be a basketball game tonight.

A naked basketball game, at that.

Yes, Wisconsin defeated Penn State just minutes ago.

Because, in the Midwest, if you can't walk home naked in the snow, you might as well move to California. Don'tcha know.

We only live two or three miles down University Ave from the Kohl Center. :-)

That is tbd, I found the remnants of notes that somehow survived the Flea Devastation, then I started making changes, then I got derailed on cows who gain sentience by Limeylongears, now I'm reconfiguring everything...

Hey! What gives? I leave for work and come back to find the site a mess. Again. Did someone leave the server door open so that the gremlin could get in, again?

On further "poking around," it would seem that the site's directory structure is a mess. I even tried typing in the directory for the message board directly to no avail. Hopefully, they can restore from backups. If this isn't a natural occurrence, say, from failing hard drives, then I'd blame hackers. But that's just me. :P

Just to be 100% clear, I wasn't responsible for the cows gaining sentience.

Honest.

So. Big day tomorrow.
Not only is my wife starting her job, but I have a Skype interview for not just any job, but my dream job - essentially working full time at the second job.
I am so nervous that I barely slept last night. I am thinking I will head to bed early tonight so I can attempt to make up the lack.

Sorry! It's already been established I should not touch anything. Not that it's my fault.

It is fun navigating to things blindly in this forum through my former posts... So, it is snowing here! January taunted us with a week where I got away with wearing a light sweatshirt in lieu of a winter coat. Now winter is back. I had been enjoying our early flirtation with spring.

Minnesota is such a tease.

Hmm

Indeed, the kids were already planning trips to the lake. :-)

At least they get a snow day (their first one in two years even!).

Great! Because of you twelve people can't access their accounts, I hope you're happy with yourself!

Also, find someone to sweep up NobodysHome's Faberge Egg (I'll get the spelling right, one of these days).

My understanding is that the "hackers" were Paizo employees rolling out a software change. Oops.

And then the possibility of repairs was sabotaged by key IT folks getting sick.

Freehold,

Since the website has gone loony, I went visiting other sites to dispel my boredom. On the concept ships blog, I found this. It seems to be a type of Y-wing built from an A-wing.

But the Y-Wing was perfect already.

I guess, for me, the jets in the back are too long and the nose is too short and wide.

But, that's just me, and it's still well done. :-)

Do you know, I was unaware that Teddy Roosevelt had glass testes, but it explains a great deal.

No, no, no, no, no. You've got it all wrong, John.

That is an A-wing with more engine!!!!

Probably terrible for maneuverability . . . . Oh, well. Faster A-wing = More fun A-wing.

:D

To this day, some historians believe his glass eye and glass testy were indistinguishable from each other. And in moments of mirth, Teddy would often switch them.

But that would be wack.

Ooooh. Brainstorm.

They're combination engine boosters / unguided baradium super-torpedoes. Build up a ton more speed than an A-wing normally can, then release both toward a capital ship, and speed away.

Capital ship sniping with snubfighters.

I approve this message. :D

Except that the A-wing part seems to lack engines.

Hmmmm. Indeed. Upon closer examination.

Meh. Just duct tape two Novaldex engines on the back of the center fuselage. Problem solved. Call it the A-wing Plus Two.

Or, get yourself a Y-Wing and forget all this A-Wing nonsense.

Does Battlefront offer space battles, like Battlefront II did? I'll make a trip up to Whiskey-yon-sins and we can answer this riddle!! . . . and the best A-wing will win. :)

I used to be pretty good at that pod racer game, but that's the extent of my Star Wars video gaming.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I remember that one from back when I was in college in NE. I was horrible at it. It was fun, though!

I got pretty good with the A-wing in Battlefront II. But, that would kinda be expected since I used to spend my day off playing the game, eating food, and playing the game. I loved Galactic Conquest gametype.

Any of y'all check out those links I posted a page or two back? Good stuff there!!
