One of the better 'new' Maiden songs, IMHO.
I tend to listen to it when I'm melancholy and thinking of certain friends.

Another of my favorites from the 'new' Maiden:

Montsegur

i will go to the maiden show here in frankfurt this saturday

I liked the Dance of Death and Matter of... records, the new one - not really, but live even their worst songs always rock

Congratulations! Of course, with the advent of First Grade, you will have many tough questions to answer. Things like:

  • What do you want to be when you grow up?
  • What did you do on your summer vacation?
  • What did Dick and Jane do? (Shut your filthy minds!)
  • What is 3 + 4?

I know, it's quite a jump from the milk & cookies, nap times and macaroni art of your youth. But you are on a long and wonderful path now! Enjoy!

The boy's cold continues to exist. And last night his fever got up to 101. So we gave him some kid's tylenol. That helped. But it was back up to 101 this morning. So, no daycare. I went to work while the wife stayed home with him for a bit. Worked until noon, then came home so the wife could go to work. Took Charlie to the doctor.

Doctor says: blah blah blah...cold....blah blah...viral...blah blah...keep doing what you're doing. Bye.

So, I looked it up and apparently they stopped using Dick & Jane back in the 70s... Which, of course, makes me feel old since I used them.

Have you guys tried putting him in a luke warm tub? If the doc was worried he would have had Charlie admitted. Did you ask if you could continue him on infant fever reducer? Infant IB Profen is gentler on him. And pedialyte can help hydrate him.

Although I am sure you have gotten all this advice, Its all I have. Don't worry if he can't stomach nursing or formula, the fever may curdle the milk, water or pedialyte will help.

Okay. I'm sitting up and web-browsing, while keeping an ice pack on my back. The complusion for drugs is less, so that's good. I'm hungry but not motivated. All...by...my...se-e-elf...

We take the controller away at bedtime. Though we have extended bedtime by an hour or so. As long as his behavior remains good at school and home he can stay up till 9pm.

Why is it that men can walk around topless but women can't? Its just as hot for us! If not hotter!
It's called sexism and you are still dealing with the tail end of thousands of years of it.
And why are bra's so racy? They cover more than bikini tops!

Because, as flimsy as they may be, bikini tops are outer wear, whereas bras are underwear. The human mind is a wonderful thing, ain't it?
