The best part was, when my buddy at work gave it too me it had a fake label: A skull and the words "Another Year Closer to Death".

Well, we've got to get the post count up before the world ends tomorrow.

Almost time to get out of work. Then it's lunch, some errands, and picking up the boy from daycare.

Later folks.

Apparently there is no limit since the human race has been saying the world is going to end any day for at least 3000 years.

Dark Archive

Dear guy with the creepy Mustache and scary chuckle who buys the one banana and one porn mag in the middle of the afternoon.
1) You look really creepy, there are better looks out there than the creepy mustache and child molester haircut, please consider a style change
2) Please remember we are located next to a park and there are like 6 kids in the store at any one time so please have more discretion when bringing your magazine called "High Society" with women on the front doing abominable things likely not befitting the magazines title. Discretely handing me the magazine would help instead of slapping it on the counter in very plain sight of the children.
3) Coming later at night would also help where there would be no children around after dark.
4) STOP TRYING TO MAKE CREEPY SMALL TALK WITH ME!!!!!
5) Why the banana every time?
6) Stop leaving the porn rack a mess and leaving other magazines in plain sight where again the children can see.

Yeah I just had to share:

Really I could not help myself.

So about say 10 years ago I had a job at the local JC Penneys. Worked there for years. Knew the whole store very well. One of the few people who actually did. I was leaving work, going out the back when one of the Security folks stopped me. She asked me where the thick heavy blue cleaning gloves were at. I thought that this was a bit weird since you know, security was not well known for cleaning toilets, and the gloves she wanted were generally used for that, or if there was vomit ect... to clean up.
I informed her where to find them, where years ago I had made a disturbing discovery that someone had defficated into a brand new pair of Levi's and made sure that if I perchance ever had such a gruesome discovery again I would damn well know where those gloves were at.
I had to ask, I kick myself every day but I had to ask. What did she need them for?
Seems an old man, while his wife was shopping elsewhere, went to the mens room, with lube, a toy, and a magazine. He was um caught in the act by a father and a young boy. The security guard did not wish to touch the elderly man with her bare hands.

I left out the story about security having to call the young lady in Menswear to "what ever she does not shake the hand of the man who is hiding behind the Levi's" We had to call the cleaning crew in special and had to destroy 20 pairs of pants that day.

Oh I guess I did not leave that out.

Sorry If I shared these before.

I loved most parts of that job, it was just the customers who sucked.

Liberty's Edge

As I may have mentioned before, I'm a mod over at the Official Shadowrun Forums. I also keep my eye on Dumpshock (as I have throughout the years), but I don't post there that much because... well... most of the people at DS are "not nice".

Anyway, a few months back, CGL released War!, a new sourcebook detailing mercenary and such in the Shadowrun universe. Unfortunately, there were a number of typos and a lot of the "old-timers" didn't like how some of the fiction sounded, nor that it was focused mostly on the Aztlan-Amazonian war.

Long story short, a bunch of the "critics" got on Dumpshock to create a fan-book called "alt.War" to give all the "real" fans of Shadowrun what the book "should have been".

Is it wrong that I'm now quite cheerful because the posters have officially declared alt.War dead since no one could agree on what the "real fans" wanted? :D
