Well, just had a relationship end. Got it reinforced that I'm an inhuman monster who uses a human guise as a cover for finding souls to suck the joy out of. Oh, and I'm apparently an uncompromising, closed-minded jerk who won't consider the viewpoints of others just because I won't automatically change a viewpoint to something entirely different.
Related to that, I found a reason to dislike Mormons.
Also related to that, vodka is actually pretty tasty once you have enough of it.
Well, at least I now know why I was gifted a couple of Baldur's Gates.

I made a first level 3.5 druid for friday group:
Welf Wolfsclaw and his companion Claw Welfswolf (as you may guess - a wolf)
for saturdays group I made a Pathfinder Sorc1/Bard2 Elf
That's just like Kevin Grevioux - the dude who helped write the Underworld movies and played Raze in them. That dude's got a degree in microbiology and was working towards a Master's in genetic engineering.
Just goes to show, even big muscle dudes/ action stars can be really f%+@ing smart.
I wanted to mention him on the smart dolph talk on page 2024, than I found the post in page 2023 :-)

I will bring the zip ties with me, in case the kids get to misbehaving.

Yesterday was a good day. We went looking at houses and ended up putting $1000 hold in a brand new, still under construction house in a newish subdivision a few miles away. Bigger than the one we are currently renting by about 400-500 square feet, but not as big as I'd have liked. Still, it's within our price range. So we wrote them a check and signed a contract.
We might still keep looking, though. And out agent says it wouldn't be a problem to get out of that and get our money back.
Anyway, yay house!

Yeah, it's tough early on. Merging/adjusting your schedule to kidlet's can be draining. But it get's better as you learn their schedule and some of their habits. Positive waves to Sabine and you both.

We got my car jump started today and was able to drive it to the mechanic. It really was just the battery (no problem with the starter or anything) so that could be replaced easily and now it runs beautifully.
I should have said earlier, but you may not have actually needed a new battery. The cold has a way of draining a battery down. However, a quick jump, followed by some driving around to let the alternator recharge the battery can set things right. Although if it drained down multiple times in a row, then you would need a new one.
Another thing that a lot of people seem to forget to check is the water level in the battery. If that gets too low, it can cause problems.
Work beckons at 4:00 A.M. Off to the Land of Dreams and Nightmares.
