GMail isn't bad mechanically. I'm of two minds about their privacy agreements, I guess. That and lazy about changing over.
Hotmail isn't one I would use. Microsoft owns that one has been trying to shut it down completely and transition everyone over to one of their others for about four years now.

I separate my mail by having 3 separate gmail accounts.
One for 'official' mail, like bills and such that need my actual name, One for gaming and fun stuff, and one other for my stage combat and hopefully soon to be self-employed work stuff.
yeah, that last one doesn't get too much use yet. :(
I just never liked yahoo that much to begin with, then my wife and I just got spam-slammed from them obviously selling our names to any and everyone. She still tries to use it, but she can't find any of the real emails due to the hundreds of spams she gets every day.
And those are what gets through the supposed spam-filter! :P

I prefer Gmail for now. Hotmail's been getting steadily worse even considering the price.

And that's why I prefer Gmail - no spam since I got the account.

Probably wouldn't be too hard for me to go back to GMail, my old account's dead but I've got all my Google Drive stuff tied to my current emails and it shouldn't be too difficult to transfer over.
But like I said, lazy. If I start getting bills, or things just plain stop working, then I'll probably make a switch.
I honestly don't use email enough to make much of a fuss about it. Though that may change with me getting stuff to do.

I guess this is the part where I say something like....

So....I'd end up destroying buildings in downtown Houston or something? Cuz I don't want to step on the toes of local kaiju.

I'd really like an email service wherein I can use several different email addresses and see them all from a single logon. Switching between mail servers is a drag.
I have a gmail account for gaming and tried to add a professional alias for job hunting, but couldn't figure out if it was possible.
EDIT:
Well well well. Ask and ye shall receive. Knock, and a door shall be opened unto you.

I think I have a demon in my house. Again. I thought they got the warning after what I did to the last one.
Anyone know of good seasonings that go with demon-possessed beef? The demonic essence always makes the meat taste a bit fishy, and I want to season it to taste more like the steak it's supposed to be.

Nah, the Faceless Old Woman is the landlord. She only bothers me when I'm behind on rent.
I have no idea how she managed to sic an elemental on me, but after three days of it raining inside my apartment I got the idea and never got a wek behind again. Plus, I was tired of the storm clouds up by the ceiling and getting struck by lightning when trying to sleep.

Speaking of. How the heck did I get it into my head that I'd already paid rent for this month? Very embarrassing.

Breakfast, 3:00 A.M., who'd guess?
{mentally pictures BluePigeon as giant bird sitting at a diner counter at 3AM}
Edit: Considering it's BP in Vegas, this might be more appropriate? Or maybe this? Wow, there's an entire blog on Nighthawks.

I was sleeping yesterday afternoon when I was awakened an unexpected call on a dead woman's phone from one of her friends who apparently doesn't know she has passed. Once I fumbled that into oblivion and decided to go back to sleep, I was shortly thereafter awakened by five raps on the window. I went to the window and nobody was there. Of course, it's on the second story, so that wasn't surprising.
I didn't try to sleep anymore.

I'm trying to set this up and getting this message from Google: Your other email provider is responding too slowly. Please try again later, or contact the administrator of your other domain for further information.

If it is a spirit, you can set up boundaries for them to let them know there are rooms they are not welcome in. Warding a bedroom and a bathroom is usually best. That way, they do not bother you while you sleep.
Just make certain you expel them from the room first; otherwise, they can end up trapped inside.

I don't care if somebody is around, as long as they don't make a mess.

Have I mentioned that my direct supervisor told me today that he likes me and is appreciating my work...
Oh, and a much bigger boss remembers my name. He also seems to remember names of a few other newbies, though. I don't know if it is a good, bad or irrelevant sign.
Grats!!! I hope this is a sign of good things to come for you!
