I'm pretty fed up with Yahoo. Any suggestions for a good, free mail service?

Hotmail is the other I use - Yahoo is my personal/official email and where I send anything that needs my real name on it, my Hotmail account is where my gaming/fun/etc. stuff goes.

GMail isn't bad mechanically. I'm of two minds about their privacy agreements, I guess. That and lazy about changing over.

Hotmail isn't one I would use. Microsoft owns that one has been trying to shut it down completely and transition everyone over to one of their others for about four years now.

Apparently the British officer corps was all upper class twits (and Siegfried Sassoon and Robert Graves).

Honestly my main reason for using the ones I have is inertia, too much effort would be involved going around to all the places I have ever registered and getting all the emails changed over.

Something making me pay to use the email would do it, admittedly.

I separate my mail by having 3 separate gmail accounts.

One for 'official' mail, like bills and such that need my actual name, One for gaming and fun stuff, and one other for my stage combat and hopefully soon to be self-employed work stuff.

yeah, that last one doesn't get too much use yet. :(

I just never liked yahoo that much to begin with, then my wife and I just got spam-slammed from them obviously selling our names to any and everyone. She still tries to use it, but she can't find any of the real emails due to the hundreds of spams she gets every day.

And those are what gets through the supposed spam-filter! :P

I prefer Gmail for now. Hotmail's been getting steadily worse even considering the price.

And that's why I prefer Gmail - no spam since I got the account.

Probably wouldn't be too hard for me to go back to GMail, my old account's dead but I've got all my Google Drive stuff tied to my current emails and it shouldn't be too difficult to transfer over.

But like I said, lazy. If I start getting bills, or things just plain stop working, then I'll probably make a switch.

I honestly don't use email enough to make much of a fuss about it. Though that may change with me getting stuff to do.

Uh-oh... they're not going to the graveyard, they're going to the crematorium!

(Obviously a lot less tense when you know that Captain de Gaulle will become General de Gaulle 23 years later.)

Hah! Stupid Germans. You can't catch Indy once he's gotten on a bicycle!

Look! He can outrun a train!

On a bicycle!

Imagine what he'd be able to do if he'd been played by Harrison Ford...

I'd really like an email service wherein I can use several different email addresses and see them all from a single logon. Switching between mail servers is a drag.

I have a gmail account for gaming and tried to add a professional alias for job hunting, but couldn't figure out if it was possible.

EDIT:
Well well well. Ask and ye shall receive. Knock, and a door shall be opened unto you.

I think I have a demon in my house. Again. I thought they got the warning after what I did to the last one.

Anyone know of good seasonings that go with demon-possessed beef? The demonic essence always makes the meat taste a bit fishy, and I want to season it to taste more like the steak it's supposed to be.

It's not a demon, it's just the Faceless Old Woman who Secretly Lives in your Home. She knows seafood is better for you. She also wants your wifi password.

Nah, the Faceless Old Woman is the landlord. She only bothers me when I'm behind on rent.

I have no idea how she managed to sic an elemental on me, but after three days of it raining inside my apartment I got the idea and never got a wek behind again. Plus, I was tired of the storm clouds up by the ceiling and getting struck by lightning when trying to sleep.

This snow needs to stop. I've been hearing sirens on and off for the past hour, and I still need to go to work tonight.

Speaking of. How the heck did I get it into my head that I'd already paid rent for this month? Very embarrassing.

In other news, my head is currently throbbing to an early-90's house beat whenever I stand up.

Vodka helps that.

I could leave you,
say goodbye.
Or I could love you,
if I try.
And I could...
And left to my own devices,
I probably would.

If it moves into dubstep I might try it.

Although I kinda liked dubstep when it first started to show up. Not sure if it's gotten worse or just over-exposed.

I was sleeping yesterday afternoon when I was awakened an unexpected call on a dead woman's phone from one of her friends who apparently doesn't know she has passed. Once I fumbled that into oblivion and decided to go back to sleep, I was shortly thereafter awakened by five raps on the window. I went to the window and nobody was there. Of course, it's on the second story, so that wasn't surprising.

I didn't try to sleep anymore.

If it is a spirit, you can set up boundaries for them to let them know there are rooms they are not welcome in. Warding a bedroom and a bathroom is usually best. That way, they do not bother you while you sleep.

Just make certain you expel them from the room first; otherwise, they can end up trapped inside.

Oh, and a much bigger boss remembers my name. He also seems to remember names of a few other newbies, though. I don't know if it is a good, bad or irrelevant sign.
