Does Anyone Have a Build for Manbearpig?

Feeling an urge to run a "Suddenly Manbearpig" encounter.

If it's already on these forums somewhere, then I rolled low on my Search skill check. I'm coming up blanks.

A what encounter?

A Nalfeshnee looks like a manbearpig...

Pathfinderdb has a bull/wolf/ape eidolon statblock that looks like it would work. All you have to tweak is the fluff.

Manbearpig is a beast from the South Park show. I think it would make a super cereal monster.

The "suddenly x" pattern is an internet meme. Google "Suddenly Vampire Frogs," I think you'll find an example. In my case, I'm just suggesting that I'm planning to use it as an unexpected, out-of-left field wilderness wandering monster encounter, for comic effect.

Kryzbyn and Phneri: Thanks for the suggestions. Can't look at them now, the firewall prevents me from hitting the SRD.

From the eyes of a kobold druid/wizard
(who happens to think and talk like Towlie for RP)

  • pig = boar companion
  • man pig = orc
  • man bear = bugbear
  • man bear pig = ogre

  • Dark Archive

Vampiric giant frogs and vampiric tadpoles-spawn are gonna be an awesome, black-humour, highly disturbing encounter I'll put into the corrupted forest my players are headed into next months. Ooowwwwww.

    Thanks.

Half-orc werebear = Man bear pig.

Try Chateau de Landshark. It's a charming Infusion of Demon Icor. If it can make an armadillo look good to a snapping turtle, it can help you create that 3 way hybrid you have nightmares about. :)

Take a grizzlybear, replace bite with a Boar's Gore attack, then raise intelligence to 10.

I built a ManBearPig for one game... it was half-man, half-bear, and half-pig, like in the show..
I literally took the stats of a bear, a boar (dire boar i think actually) and a human warrior and cut them in half and put them together, with the feats and skills and such of all three, with some slight modifications to balance everything out.
It worked surprisingly well, without being silly. A fun encounter >D

    Elegant.

Chaositech is kind of a long way to do it, but do-able. Heap of chaos-powered cybernetics and weapons, etc. But one of the templates basically gets 2 monsters, a staplegun, some duct-tape...

Would it be anything like The Beast of Royston Vasey?

Warning, not suitable for work, or me.

I couldn't get through it to the part with the monster.

First of all, let me tell you that developing a man bear pig is a great idea.

In my oppinion, you could use a human ranger with the APG variant of shapeshifter, using the form of the bear and using the natural weapos option.

You could use a sligtly altered form of the dragon (that gives natural armor bonuses)as form of the pig.

At 12th level, you can use the Dual Form Shifter feature to actually be a Man Bear Pig.

    Silver Crusade

Epic rules are not available yet.

I would just use troll stats and describe it as a ManBearPig. From what I've seen of the show, it would be just as terrifying.

Literally shot soda out of my nose when I read this. "It worked surprisingly well, without being silly...."

We need stats for the four-headed man-eating haddock-fish-beast of Aberdeen...

A hydra, just 4 heads, breathes water.

Well I'm late to the party, but...

There's no rule that states you can't have multiple, separate forms of lycanthrope. So, make a Human with the Were-Boar and Were-Bear templates. Then have it shift into both hybrid forms at the same time. Half-Human-Half-Bear-Half-Pig. Easy peasy :)

I made a quick example in HeroLab. (Shapeshifted into both lycanthrope hybrids.)
