I am very pleased with the service I have received to date from FrogGod Games.

My only regret is not being able to purchase all of your books. There are few game companies I can speak about in the same way. (Paizo would be another!)

Yes it has, to date I have bought a hard copy and PDF of every FGG pathfinder and S&W title and no issues.

Is that how much it is? Or are you outside of the US? I haven't heard back from Bill yet.

Has to be outside the U.S. I only saw a charge for $4 S/H, IIRC.

I've e-mailed several times and no response. I'm just going to take it on faith that I'll eventually be contacted when they're about ready.

What could possibly go wrong?

He was making a joke generalizing another publisher based off my comment. I doubt he meant anything concerning Frog God in specific. The punch line was lost in Internet translation. :)

You will. We won't be able to ship anything without all the necessary details. We're just still SUPER early in the process on this book (folks were clamoring for a preorder button, so I think it got rushed a bit in putting it up), but all would be sorted out before it comes time to put books in the mail.

Right. I was one of those folks clamoring. :) Thanks, Greg!

Bill has mentioned that if you want any other books or know persons who also want this book, you can team up to spread the shipping cost out over several books. What I don't know is just how many you can put in the same mailing. I'll look for his previous posts in that regard, unless he beats me to it. As I understand things, it isn't $46 shipping per book, it is $46 shipping per shipment to International addresses, up to a certain number of books.

I'm going ot have to buy this in PDF version. I need these cratures as quite a few of monsters and templates from those books feature in the current AP I'm running, Curse of the Crimson Throne, not to mention to post up on d20pfsrd.

Yeah, I didn't mean anything about Frog God Games, I was kind of riffing a company and product that have been discussed frequently of late. Frog God is consistently mentioned as one of the elite 3PPs by those in the know, and I have no reason to say otherwise.

Yep, my understanding is that the $46 is for a box of a cerain size and that Bill will stuff obsolutely as many books into that box as he can. So $46 shipping for a single book...not great. On a 10-book* order...not nearly so bad. And the fact that he can ship multiple people's orders in the same box if they coordinate with him (which some people have done), then it really becomes less onerous.

*I'm speculating on 10 books, I have no idea how many books the box will hold, but if you contact Bill about it he can work out the details with you.

I got the reference. :) And thanks for the kind words. I think people are probably just a little leery in light of the other stuff you mention.

That would be ace, however... my players have only ever bought dice for themselves, every other game book we use is mine (not entirely true, one player buys loads of spycraft stuff) so I don't have people to split the cost with.

Dark Archive

I assume that there will eventually be an errata for this.
Will customers who got the 1st print be able to download an updated version of this?
What I mean by updated version is all the errata applied to the PDF and the entire 2nd print of the book is able to be downloaded.

Dark Archive

Speaking of errata...you going to have some central place to submit those very few, minor errors?

We still use the Necromancer Games forums to communicate with the fans.

http://necromancergames.yuku.com/

I'm sure that there will be an errata thread started about 4 seconds after the .pdf goes live. <laugh>

As for your previous question - I'm not really sure.

Preorder complete. *swoon* *bounce*

Folks, forgive me if this has been covered, but I'm getting ready to do my pre-order, and I need to know how much domestic shipping is supposed to be.

The shipping selector says "Select Shipping for Softcover Purchases Only" - we're not getting free shipping on top of the pre-order, are we? Could things possibly get that much more awesome?

Shipping won't be free, I am pretty certain of that. However I think you can still pick the box for 1-2 books, which is $4. That is what I did. To be certain, I would send an email to Bill. But honestly you've got plenty of time.

When I pre-ordered for a single book the day the link went live, it was $4 for shipping.

I DEFINITELY want to pre-order this, but with the new baby it keeps getting pushed back. Next month I get my holiday pay so keep one in a cupboard for me til then, please ;-)

The FrogGod has his sweatshops sweating to get this tome ready by GenCon, according to his latest press release.

Will there be a notification as soon as the stuff is shipped/as soon as the downloads go life?

I'd like to say yes. Previous notifications have been fairly prompt.

Add me on to the UK list for shipping. Wintergreen knows how to get a hold of me off list. As Paizo ships to APO boxes it may be better to group and ship to me.

I can't find the "Kiss the Frog" thread so I am posting this here.

I pre-ordered, between this and the Bestiaries, should be well covered for Pathfinder without having to go to the well to do many conversions.

Good stuff!

I still haven't heard back regarding the issue of not having paid for shipping due to the notice that all shipping listings were for (non-existent) softcover options.

I guess I'm just hoping that at some point Bill will make a statement. :\

Will it be available on Paizo website like other FrogGod Games stuff in the store?

I am not sure on that. I doubt the print version will be as there is a limited print run and lots of persons have spoken up about preordering. If you want to be certain of getting a copy, I would hit up Frog God's website and do it there.

Should have got back on this, sorry.

I've had a bit of a cash problem so won't be jumping on this straightaway. Bill said: "Sure--can ship 2 for same price--any more is too heavy"

I hope that helps you guys out.

I live in the UK so it would be much easier (and cheaper) if I could buy it in PDF. Asked bill questions via email but he gave me the minimum of answers like a cleric's divination.

Great to hear, I hate to say it, but this one sounds like it'll be physically too big to be very useful for casual reading.

Your payment setup is not pre-loadable debit card friendly. Paypal won't recognize my KPF Prepaid Visa card as an acceptable card for payment. I'd like to pre-order, but need an alternate payment method to do so.

I assume to buy it as a PDF I have to wait for it to be released before the option becomes available to buy only in PDF?

Whops. I haven't been on these boards for a while and totally overlooked this post. I see it's officially sold out, but is it possible to buy one copy? Maybe some extra copies have been printed anyway?

Beek, you need to send Lisa some flowers. Paizo stepped up and got a supply for knuckleheads like yourself. ;-)

Capisce?

It just occurred to me that a GM cracking open the Tome is the equivalent of the Godfather kissing both your cheeks...

Copied from the other thread because one thread is simply not enough to contain this awesomeness.

Also, we at Frog God think Lisa is a super hero. :-)

Awesome!

What's the status on the S&W version?

Chuck says he is working on that now, status has been posted on the Necromancer boards. I'll just pop back there to see exactly what he posted.

>>>Chuck states that he is hoping to have the S&W version done by tomorrow. I am sure he will post on the Necromancer boards when he's done and maybe here too.
