As far as I can tell from the raw rules, the only thing that can remove the stunned condition is Heal or the Mercy ability executed by a paladin of level 12+.
But what about Freedom of Movement and Remove Paralysis? Both of these can be understood as being able to remove the Stunned condition, though they are a bit vague.
Has there been an official ruling on this subject? Are there any other means of removing Stunned which I've overlooked?

Stun technically is not movement impediment, it blocks subject's ability to take action (and diminishes ability to defend oneself). So freedom of movement will not help (i.e. victim is free to move but does not have any actions to benefit from that freedom).
Remove paralysis list paralysis, staggered and "related conditions". As there are hardly lists of related conditions in Pathfinder so it is GM's call if stun is related to paralysis (I would personaly said no, that it is different type of condition).
But I found one more spell that specifically removes stunned condition: freedom
Stuns caused by magic might be removed by dispel magic and break enchantment, depending upon specific circumstances but generally yes, stun is hard to remove without resorting to a number of 3.5 spells from supplements that were capable of removing variety of effects.

Staggered seems to be considered a milder form of stun in some instances, for example the Stunning Critical requires Staggered Critical, and if the opponent saves on Stunning Critical it is staggered instead of stunned.
I therefore think it reasonable that stun is considered a condition related to staggered, which implies that Remove Paralysis also removes the stunned condition.

"Suppress Charms and Compulsions" (Level 2) (from Pathfinder Companion: Andoran, Spirit of Liberty) should remove a magical stun in effect since it is a compulsion. It also protects from stun (and other compulsions) by giving a +4 morale bonus.
Apart from that "Heal" and "Break enchantment" should also work but cost higher ressources.
In my understanding "Freedom of Movement" and "Remove Paralysis" don't help against stunning effect because they work only against effects that impede movement and not dazing/stunning effects that cause you to lose actions by effecting your mind rather than your body. Therefore I agree with Drejk and Kaiyanwang.

How about Greater Restoration?
Restoration, Greater
School conjuration (healing); Level cleric 7
Components V, S, M (diamond dust worth 5,000 gp)
This spell functions like lesser restoration, except that it dispels all permanent and temporary negative levels afflicting the healed creature. Greater restoration also dispels all magical effects penalizing the creature's abilities, cures all temporary ability damage, and restores all points permanently drained from all ability scores. It also eliminates fatigue and exhaustion, and removes all forms of insanity, confusion, and similar mental effects.
