I was building my first animal companion and wanted the druid to have a wolverine one.
If i look at the core rulebook badger (wolverine stats) and the bestiary wolverine stats it just does not match! Plus on the wolverine entry there is no "companion stats".
When situation like that arise should i take the base animal "bestiary" block stat?
And if yes how do i know if the "advancement" takes place at 4th or 7th level?
Plus depending on the animal CR how do i evaluate if its appropriate for the druid to have such a companion or not?
If the base animal already have feat in the bestiary entri can swap them out for other one according to the "Table 3–8: Animal Companion Base Statistics"?
As you see i'm in foreign ground as for animal companion!
Thanx in advance!

You have no need to look up the badger in the bestiary.
Everything you need to make that animal companion is in the druid classdescription. He's not a normal wolverine/badger, he's you're badger. You're a druid.
You may need to look up feat descriptions in the beatiary, but that's about it.
You can pick whatever, skills, feats, tricks that you want unless they are restricted by the animal's intelligence (all that is covered in the druid class section under animal companions).
Badger (Wolverine)
Starting Statistics: Size Small; Speed 30 ft., burrow 10 ft., climb 10 ft.; AC +2 natural armor; Attack bite (1d4), 2 claws (1d3); Ability Scores Str 10, Dex 17, Con 15, Int 2, Wis 12, Cha 10; Special Attacks rage (as a barbarian for 6 rounds per day); Special Qualities low-light vision, scent.4th-Level Advancement: Size Medium; Attack bite (1d6), 2 claws (1d4); Ability Scores Str +4, Dex –2, Con +2.
He advances at 4th level companion.
I hope this helped.

Short answer, use the core rulebook stats.
Longer answer:
The animal companion stats are more 'balanced' for PCs. To look at it from a similar POV, look at the Roc entry in the Bestiary.
The Roc 'monster' stats are for a gargantuan bird. The animal companion stats start at medium, then at 7th level go to large. An animal companion Roc is never going to be as big as a monster Roc. Their stats will never match. Same thing for a 'wild' wolverine vs an animal companion wolverine.
Hope that helps.

You just use the stats given under badger (wolverine) in the druid class.
The stats are different from the bestiary wolverine, but not by much compared to some of the other animal companions.
The reason for the changes in stats was a concern of a) balance issues (albeit some are still a lot better than others) and primarily b) that the old animal companion system only let you choose certain animals at higher levels. This lead people to change the animals as they got stronger themselves instead of keeping the one they had. With the Pathfinder system, you can choose any kind of animal from the start, and they all get significantly stronger at a certain level.

If a creature attacks only with natural attacks, all of them use the same BAB. Some of them may have a penalty of -5 due to being secondary attacks, but the BAB doesn't change. Your bear sounds correct, as claws and bite are both primary attacks. Any creature gets this ability--including PCs, if they somehow gain claws and a bite and attack only with those (i.e., no weapons). If they use weapons, they can also use any natural attacks that don't use the same limb, but they're all treated as secondary IIRC.
Edit: Do note that only a full-attack allows more than one attack, whatever the situation.
