Scarab Sages

I guess I don't understand the benefit this offers. Can someone explain the purpose of this ability?

When you cast a spell, you can heal the creatures affected by the spell. E.g., if you cast Haste, you could heal 3 points of damage for one of the targets.

Does this act like an infinite heal bot when used in conjunction with O level spells?

I don't think so as a 0 level spell will heal 0 hp

Since its spell level * X for the amount of healing, a 0-level spell wouldn't heal anything.

EDIT: How many seconds did I get ninja'd by?

Not sure but i find it sad how happy i am to have made my first ever ninja post :P

I didn't see anywhere where it says spell level * 1.. It says 'PER LEVEL' lvl 0 *IS* a lvl. So Orisons should do 1 pt.

@McMarvin: Healing Grace specifically states that if you apply any of the points of healing that the spell provides to an undead creature, they take damage from it instead of being healed.

@2radly: Sorry, no. No healing from cantrips.
