You know you GM too much when...

Sovereign Court

Thought this would be fun for the other GMs out there to answer.

1.) You have come to terms with the fact that you will probably never be a player again.

2.) You actually role-play your campaign/adventure *out loud* to yourself in the car just to make sure it sounds right and you're not missing anything.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

3) You watch Mythbusters and try to figure out stats for whatever explosive device they are using this week so you can surprise your players with it.

4) You do not understand the concept of "GMing too much"

5) You award friends/family members/coworkers XP when they stay in character do interesting things.

Dark Archive

6) when you refuse to use anything less than 6 characters in any game

7) You tell a relative that they have obviously taken Skill Focus in something they can do well.

You think you are a pesh addict!, dealer and smuggler!

9. You try to end real life arguments with, "Rocks fall, your character dies!"

Grand Lodge

9) You refrain from murdering everyone at work because you don't want to hear complaints about a TPK.

Sovereign Court

11.) If you use the phrase "not at my table" more than once a week.

*Note: Numbering corrected.

Paizo Employee Creative Director

12: You think that death isn't scary just because there's spells like raise dead in the game. :-P

13. You can read other GM's minds, anticipate their nefarious twists, and generally have "see plot" always active.

14: When you're jealous that "they" get to try out all the APG Classes and you can't.

Sovereign Court

15.) When you realize if you run a game for some new players it will be like giving them crack.

16. You try to join in a "cool things my favorite character did" conversation and realize you don't have any. :(
