I've been attempting to register a character for Pathfinder Society play. I've tried several times in Firefox and Safari, but when I save the character, I am returned to my profile page which says that I have no characters.
I'm having the same issue and it's with Internet Explorer, so I don't think that it's a browser issue. Is there something going on with the site? Have a game that I want to go to in two days, and I have a Pathfinder Society number, but I'm not able to assign a Character Number to characters that I want to generate ahead of time.
I just tried to register a new character aswell. Same story. It was doing it to my friends last night aswell.
Something seems to be broken. I posted a thread at http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizo/customerService/unableToRegister NewCharacter, but you may add me to the list of people who are having problems. Thank you for your assistance!
Ok so apparantely I am not alone, same thing for me from two different computers. If anyone has any updates on the situation please post it!
I've found the problem, and should be fixing it shortly. I'll let you know when it's ready.
Thank-you Ross and Cosmo! Hoping it's not too sticky of a problem. Game on tonight and I really don't like the idea of showing up with a pre-gen. If I can't get something registered, maybe I'll just pop in to check out the group at the FLGS.
Haha, bad timing. I was about to go to my first Pathfinder Society game. Hopefully it comes up within the next half hour or so.

Same problem here as of 9/1/12. I have tried over 10 times with 3 different computers. Even tried it with an Android Tablet, Same thing happens each time (getting sent back to the Pathfinders Society main screen. This is my very first Character and it's frustrating that the first time I have used your game system I find your way to input a character is not a well marked out prominent clear starting point to begin. Please advise as to what is the problem. If I am doing something wrong I would appriciate some clear guidence so I am resolve this. Thanks

So I don't think this is a time-out issue. Others have had the same problem over the last month so this looks like it's not an isolated issue.
Another possible workaround might be to try a different web browser and see if that works (for example, firefox if internet explorer is normally used).

Guess that means that IE 9 won't work. Go figure... LOL Anyway, disreguard my earlier posts. Thanks to those that did respond to my problem, much in debt to you!
I am trying to add a new character with Internet Explorer 10, and it's still not working!! Have tried twice now. I do have 4 other PFS characters already.
