Male Dark Angel Geneseed Death Watch Assault Marine

As we plummet to the world below, and watch as the Righteous Indignation is swallowed into the evitable night. The light of the burning plasma fires reflect in my eyes.

"Rest now Captain, and noble crew. For it is we who now bear witness of your sacrifice, and take up the mantle of your burden. It is our time for tests and tribulation. For only in death does duty end."

I turn my attentions away from those who are lost, and think about those loyal servants we must save. I clench my powerfist in anticipation of the battles me and my brothers will face ahead as I mentally count off the descending numbers with the mechanical voice.

Being the last to embark into the drop pod. I in turn am the first one to disembark. Scanning or any sign that the foul xeno's have already started dropping there spores onto the planet.

Nice tribute video Rad.

A war-torn cityscape greets your eyes as you emerge from the drop pod. Gun fire and explosions are all too common.

You check the data slate and it informs you that you are at Lordsholm's outskirts far away from any of the major districts.

Tactical formation if you please. TY Brother Amriel.

Your Team

I will disembark next taking the opposite side as Brother Amriel.

Especially the Ultramarine with the chainsword.

Oops, wrong avatar.

Elyas brings up the rear, he has returned to his usual dour self now that you are planet-side.

Sepheren stays close behind Venris and Amriel, ready to unleash covering fire on anything that comes too close.

Brother-Captain Gregor adjusts the fittings on his helmet, surveying the blasted landscape that was once Lordsholm's outer districts. Testing his internal microbead, he turns to his battle-brothers.

"Battle-brothers, form up and provide your post-drop status!"

Gregor will attempt to discern if there is any threat nearby, 1d100 ⇒ 20 against an Awareness of 46, and look for the best approach to Lordsholm, maximizing cover and concealment. He has an inkling the odds are now distinctly stacked against his kill-team.

For Brother Gregor

Spoiler:
You observe that there are no gunfire or lasfire that can be seen or heard to the South; whereas the other directions are filled with the signs of war. For the moment, no one is considering your team as a threat. Big Mistake!

Radavel:
Does it look like there is a route to Lordsholm via the south?

Regarding the withering weapons fire and explosions ripping apart the city of Lordsholm, Brother-Captain Gregor points toward the south.

"The city's defenders are hard-pressed, we will flank to the south where the way is clear and then bring the Emperor's fury to our foe from a position of advantage. With me, brothers!"

Will attempt to make a Common Lore (War) [40] test to see if this tactic is feasible given the circumstances, 1d100 ⇒ 1.

Wow, looks like I have Sav's Awareness touch for this skill!
