O Fortune, like the moon
you are changeable,
ever waxing and waning;
hateful life first oppresses
and then soothes as fancy takes it;
poverty and power
it melts them like ice.
Fate – monstrous and empty,
you whirling wheel,
you are malevolent,
well-being is vain
and always fades to nothing,
shadowed and veiled
you plague me too;
now through the game
I bring my bare back
to your villainy.
Fate is against me
in health and virtue,
driven on and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour without delay
pluck the vibrating strings;
since Fate strikes down the string man,
everyone weep with me!

I never watched it but a lot of people consider Veggie Tales a guilty pleasure, so you are not alone.
It's a bunch of tilting at satanic windmills. I find it deplorable. They want us to believe that they promote a healthy vegetarian lifestyle, but underneath all that robust exterior and pomposity, there's something far more sinister.

I have a couple of suggestions. Would you like to hear them first or just go ahead and assume those awkward positions?

Uri, the money should be about right. The plan is to grow his company and right now he needs someone with experience, a license, and first hand knowledge of the problems faced in this area of the country, i.e. me. So for me it's kind of a no brainer, yes I'll take a slight income cut initially but in the long run make out better with the chance to actually be happier. But you had suggestions?

I don't recall allowing a Senate to be formed. Some one summon Taig to put a stop to that nonsense.

It's ok, I'm a religious (sorta)conservitive, according to some people around here I got no brains anyhow. ;)
I'm going to try and get some sleep. Y'all be good... or not.

wanders through the thread all alone and starts to sing....
When I was young I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are goneLiving alone
I think of all the friends I’ve known
But when I dial the telephone
Nobody’s home
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
All by myself anymore
Hard to be sure
Some times I feel so insecure
And love so distant and obscure
Remains the cure
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
All by myself anymore
When I was young I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
All by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
All by myself anymore

Mornin' FAWLTies!
So, last night the "smartphone" crapped out on me. Not a software issue. Not a connection issue. But the touchscreen no longer responds. Which is one of the reasons I wasn't too keen on a touchscreen phone in the first place, but it gave me everything I wanted in a phone for a good price.
The ironic (not really, but hey) part is that the phone crapped out 2 weeks before I 'qualify' for a bunch of upgrades! Why would I qualify, you may ask? Why, because my contract will be up in six months. To top it off, the one year warranty went out six months ago.
Right now, I'm with AT&T, but I've been fed up with them for the last year (coverage is TERRIBLE) and I'm not sure I want to limp along another six months with a activated go-phone on the account ($30 go-phone/$100 'smart' go-phone) or just pay the $90 early term fee and get a new provider.
The 'smart' features are pretty key for me, since I need to be able to get work emails on the phone, so that means a good data package and some way to connect up with work's email server.
All right, done venting. Hope everyone's day is great!
(and yes, I realize that this is not important as a lot of other issues out there, but I need to get the frustration out before I kill ... again. :D )

The humidity broke today!
Well, time to see how bad the weeds have gotten in the back 40. My garlic did nicely, just harvested about 30 large bulbs. Man that sh*t is STRONG! Time to weed the green beans and plant a few blueberry bushes that have languished in the heat for a couple of weeks. Have a good day all!

Any good leads? You don't want to be the UPS guy? You'd be great at it, I hear they might be putting AC in their trucks soon.
To be frank, I'd be bored. It's also like telling me, "hey, they have data entry jobs! You're a fast-as-fnck typer; you'd excel at it!" It doesn't mean I'd enjoy it, though.
I revised my resume yesterday, but then the lil lady found a couple things afterwards I will be correcting today. "How come you and Treppa didn't point that out in Revision Three?" *slams head*. :D
EDIT: Piss and Vinegar for TOTP.
