Ok, PbP is updated finally. I have to be one of the worst online DMs around. :P

On a side note, I'm still in a great mood after Friday, even more so after blowing up Megaton, and enslaving over 100 people including one small child! The guys at Paradise Falls LOVE me! :D

Getting caught up I see.

I lost my 360 to the wife so she can play Puzzle Quest 2. She's lucky she's a hottie.

Is Puzzle Quest 2 a X-Box download or one that you buy at the store?

Yes!

You can download it for your 360 or buy it for your DS.

I recommend it, she recommends it highly.

Ok. I will check it out after I get paid.
She's taken over my XBox for about 30+ hours at this point with the game and hasn't beaten it yet.
~grins~ I will probably have to buy a card with points on it since they also have Doom and Doom II as downloads.
Sweet Christmas. I got Doom and Doom 2 and didn't leave my 360 for 2 days. Still love those games. Did you play Doom 3 at all?

I own Doom 3, but not the expansion (yet). I have yet to play it, despite one of my best friend's son beating the PC version that I also have.

I do have a question. How do I buy points through my X-Box?

You click on what you want to download, then push the (X) blue button to add points.
Ok. Thanks. `thinks~ And how much does it cost to buy the points?
To get anything good, your looking at roughly anywhere from $20-30 dollars in points.
~grins~ So wait a bit and just buy the $50 points card. Ok.
Bingo. Because once you buy points. Then you see all the games and DLC you want for other games and the points will go quickly.

~laughter~ I know. Between the game add ons and the few that I have seen that I REALLY want... Well, $100 in points might not be enough.

Ugh. Family can be a pain sometimes. Mostly because they know where all the weak spots are. :/

Well it wasn't so much them deliberately jabbing me, just being concerned and bringing it up when I didn't really want to talk about it.

~thinks~ Well, Dragon Age and the Mass Effect series are just some of the ones that have yummy downloads.

The Dragon Age ones are REALLY worth it. I haven't gotten Leilana's song yet.

Mass Effect 1 DLC isn't worth it. But Mass Effect 2 DLC is though. The new character, the thief, kinda sucks but the mission is cool.

At a minimum in Mass Effect 2 you want the improved scanner. The original one was way too sloooooooooow.

Ooo, pretty! Thanks, BT. Never saw anything like it.
We get rain like that a lot in AZ, especially during early monsoon when it's not strong enough storm systems to actually get into the heat island around Phoenix. It's like it's taunting us. "Nya nya still dry down there!"

Apparently we had it here in NY today as well, but I missed it.

I think my boss drugged me. I was invited to dinner over at his house with my mother and my boss' girlfriend. The food was good, but afterwards, I got really tired, worse than any jet-lag I've ever experienced. I barely made it home without crashing the car, and when I got through the door, I only just made it to the couch, whereupon I instantly fell asleep. That was at about 8:30 PM. I only just woke up 20 minutes ago.

Quick! Get to a doctor and have them run tests to see if there's any Tryptophan in your system! Also check to make sure you have both your kidneys!

Hmm...this kind of gift sounds suspicious...
At the Con we got a few Planet Stories books in our goody bag. Since we have been home he has read all of them, two or three times. He loves them. So we asked him if he would be interested in the sub for his birthday, he was very excited at the idea. His reading comprehension is through the roof, at last testing he was reading on an 8th grade level. :)
Cool! Which PS books were in the good bag?
City of the Beast, Masters of the Pit, and another that I can't remember. They were all Michael Moorecock books.
The Moorcock Mars books? I've been curious about those.

I realy enjoyed all of those. And they were relatively short too, so they were an easy read. :)

Uh Oh... I've endorsed something so you better avoid it like the plague!!! ;)

Gooooooooooooooooooood morning Fawlty Towers!!!!

Last night was great! We're still playing our friend's homebrew, and even though I went down on the first round of combat(so much for an "optimized" character...), the real gem was the roleplaying session afterwards when we were placed under arrest after being set up for poisioning a town's water supply with ghoul fever. The DM- an unabashed twink- surprised me when he started using legal terms against us and tricked us into testifying against ourselves. In an area where there is no 5th amendment, our testimony was pretty damning, and I have to say I was truly impressed: never again will I underestimate the roleplaying skills of someone who twinks. I don't know if we'll be playing next week or what since the sentence is death for such a heinous crime, but I had to shake his hand afterwards- he got us good, mostly because we underestimated him. Today started off great too. I ran into a bunch of old friends when I dusted off AIM this morning and chatted a bit- it was so good seeing everyone again, it was almost like I was living with my roomies back on the other side of town. Fortune smirked at me when I got into the office and I realized I hadn't checked g-mail: it turns out that yes, I do have the second job tonight- and I found out just in time to change my plans for the evening. I'll still be picking up Paizo stuff if it's out, but I won't be hanging with the manhattan Paizoites(*sniff*) and I'll be taking a special route home that ensures I'll be able to make it back in time to shower, give the wife a wink and then head back out into the field. I won't lie, I'm a little frustrated, but I think having Saturday night off makes up for it. Since I'm going away next week, I'm planning to take the wife to a movie.

That's about it for me though- what's everyone else up to?

I don't know. I will cut back and make a real effort to slow down, I am just not sure I am up for throwing my body through that large a loop. Giving up all soda and all the other foods.

I'm sure you can easily find another outlet for your oral fixation once the smokes are out the window. :P

<Moorluck nods and smiles. "yes, 37. in a row!" gives thumbs up.>

lol, its not the oral fixation. I enjoy the draw on the cig. I will look around at different ways to quit.

Trying to get through near 500 new Posts...

I hate Tuesdays, because I work 10.5 hours from 6-4.30, then drive half an hour to come home, play with the kids and then get them ready for bed. Then after they finally go off I'm lucky to get maybe an hour with Mel before I have to go to bed to be up at 4am for work. So I pretty much miss from Monday Night until half way through Wednesday online.

They do it because they think we're not listening and thus put us on the spot in a situation where we cannot escape the discussion. Because now, if she can't get us engaged in the conversation, the rest of the family will now harp in their two cents.
