Well played, sir. Well played.

I think it is imperative to get you a set that we may have to take up a collection to do so.

Who's the target audience for that thing? What kind of crazy would want to make love to a fish?

(Link mostly unrelated. I just saw, uh, "Mother Hydra's Little Helper", which led to thinking of Innsmouth, which made me think of that song, which contains the lyrics *Obed was a sailor/He sailed the seven seas/He made love to a fish*. See, everything comes together in the end.)

EDIT: Why did I post this?

Hell, if a collection is actually done for it, I'd be touched. No, impressed. No....weirded out? Yes.

Wow. So, I was having a totally unrelated conversation and kind of snarkily asked if he thought the moon landing was faked... he immediately started posting links to sites. :D

Yeah, that and the stress of the new job and everything going on with my mom threw me out of whack for a couple of months.

Things are settling down, though. :)

Glad to hear it, Old Badger and Loan.

No, you weren't snarky. It was a reasonable expression of your frustration with the douche. You gave him a lot more explanation than he deserved.

Cool, Thanks. I know when I've failed Will Saves in the past I have tended to be a little heavy handed.

GoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOd Morning FAWLTYHOUSE!!!!!!

Took it easy after getting back in last night. I must say I'm looking good of late as I have been avoiding late-night binge eating. I've got to start writing for the Paladins again though and get my ducks in a row for next month's Darklight Sisterhood game- which reminds me, I gotta get that new gamemastery board!!!! I'll also be putting up the bike ad again towards the end of the day today.

Woodraven, how goes the biking?!?!?!?!??!?! Is your teacher still hot? You putting the moves on her, Trek style? I say go for it!!!

Solnes, throw a cloth(not plastic) bag over the hubby's head and drag him to NY! I promise you, we'll all have a great time! Bring the kids, we'll let them loose in the Toys R Us in Times Square to ride the gigantic ferris wheel n' stuff. And I want an excuse to go to Luna Park before the summer evaporates!

fixed it for ya. yes still biking, yesterday was a little rough since I jumped head first into the riding. I found out that the route I take has several bus stops on the way so I can work myself up to that distance. Yes the teacher is still hot. I am going to amp up my studying skills this semester, there might be a two week study abroad opportunity to Berlin this spring for the German class. That would be great because I have a friend who lives 2 1/2-to 3 hours away from Berlin.

*fixes original post* How embarrasing! I think it was because I was playing mechwarrior long in the night last night and had a few terms bouncing around in my head.

It's good that you can work your way up to a considerable journey thanks to the public transportation system and even better that they allow bikes on it. You certainly can't do that in NY!

It's cool that you're considering studying abroad. One of my best friends is going to Germany again eventually- maybe you'll end up meeting up!

Ames is very green friendly (both ways there Uri). Our buses have a bike rack for two bikes on the front of them. They just put into service at least 3 hybrid buses. You should visit Iowa sometime it is a very nice place but boring sometimes.

well I gotta go FAWTLites the commons in the MU is getting quite crowded now.

Hey everyone!

Seems like a nice day today. The night was cool and nice, we opened the windows up for the first time at night this summer. It was so pleasant, I slept all the way through the night. That is a rare occurrence for me.

How does the day greet everyone?

One of my oldest friends online lives in Iowa near that college town of yours I believe. I think she just got married, I should see if I can make an excuse to visit her and her new hubby!

college town is Ames. Not, I repeat, Not Iowa City or Cedar Falls thowe are the Hawkeys and Panthers Respectively. I go to Iowa State University the Cyclones. now enough of that rant.

That would be cool, then that means I would have to find trails to ride.

Oh yeah I forgot how good it feels to bike around

You got to ISU? You may be attending with her son. I will check with her tonight to see if she's okay with me mentioning his name on here- he is in a band and this is his first year in college, he is probably looking to make new friends too. Not sure if he's big on D&D, but if his college years are anything like mine, he will be.

Soon they'll want to talk about the eternal struggle of Law and Chaos, Frog God Games, OSR crybabies, Smuggler's Shiv and pie, but they won't be able to, because I will be gone to work. And that goes double for killing webtrolls in their forest caves.
