Nope.

Blinx The Time Sweeper, launch title for the X-Box. Platformer. Starred a anthropomorphic cat with time-based abilities. Watching X-Play since it was Extended Play and was on TechTV has finally payed off. (Assuming you forgot the N somewhere.)

EDIT: Or not. Damn you for leading me astray, Adam Sessler!

That was going to be my guess....Orange and white tabby with a time-gun.

Aww, give the guy a chance. He could be quite handy. He's got to earn a living somehow after becoming a poster child for ZOMG DON'T TRUST YOUR AGENT AND GET A LAWYER BEFORE YOU SIGN A CONTRACT OR CUT A RECORD DEAL!!!!!

And with that...

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning Fawlty Towers!!

New personal best for biking in to work today!!! 19 minutes give or take a minute!! I left the house late as I kept on running into obstacle after obstacle- running into old friends online, my mp3 player dying and needing a new battery, waking up the wife who decided to get up when I woke her up and almost collided with me, the laundry cart and my bike as I was heading out for the day, mistimed traffic signals...you name it, it happened. But I'm here now, and full of beans. I don't know how that became a euphamism for filled with energy, but...there you go.

A bit of paperwork to square away and then I'm actually caught up! I get to relax for checks calendar TWO WHOLE DAYS! WOW!! Good thing Labor Day is week after next.

I'm sure I'll have some work to do on the second job this weekend, but other than a potential tarot meetup on Sunday, it's clear. I wonder what awaits me...?

I landed the refinery shut down job in Tacoma, so I will be out of the loop for about 5 weeks.

It will depend on how the baby is doing once he is born, and I can drive to GenCon, PaizoCon will involve a plane.

Well, congrats on the upcoming arrival. :)

I might also be going to GenCon. It's the next-to-last summer for my son before college, and my daughter wants to go to a major con.

yeah get to play in the worlds largest dungeon this weekend.
Is it sad that I'm playing an inquisitor and I'm the only one who wants to talk with the monsters before we kill them?

As a fellow WLD player, I have to let you know conversation doesn't come up as an option much in this module.

Dark Archive

So I started reading "Horns" by Joe Hill. Not completely sold yet, but it is interesting enough to keep going.

Dark Archive

So now I'm getting that squirming feeling inside that I need to do something crazy. Like when I was 16 I hitchhiked to Toronto from my home in NB. It's normally like a 20+ hour drive but it took me 3 days. Or when I graduated high school I moved to NYC for university after really only knowing life in a small town. But with me being married, and soon to have the responsibility of helping to raise a 1 and half year old little girl, I really want these thoughts to go away.

we're only a couple of rooms in for now but the GM said he would like to see more role playing and less roll playing. So far I seem to be the only one in our group trying.

but it's still fun playing for a change after running crimson throne.

Just got a craving for ice cream.

And wouldn't a man birth be like, biblical or something?

Is that common? Seems like no one wants pie in the morning.

Silver Crusade

Hi all. Where I've been...

Spoiler:
In LA right now to check things out, because as I mentioned before, we want to move somewhere.

We still like the area.

But... I visited a certain state university in this city (as mentioned previously, thinking of going to school there) and, well, it was a strange visit. I'm not sure what to make of it. I met with two of the professors first at the same time. One of the first things they said was, "You are more polite than I thought you would be." What? Apparently they have a huge chip on their shoulder against all things East Coast, and my association with various Ivy League educated professors. Then, in hindsight, I'm pretty sure they spent about half the discussion digging for gossip on East Coast professors they dislike and some of the rest of the time encouraging me to study elsewhere (while still talking up their school a little bit at least).

My subsequent meeting with the department chair was much much better. He seemed very interested in my ideas, spoke very positively about his school and what I would like about it, etc. But the first meeting left a bad taste in my mouth. I just don't know what to make of it. I'm not sure if I could work with some of those people for 5 or 6 years. And if some professors are predisposed to dislike me, what does that say about my chances of admission?

Maybe I'm reading the situation wrong; it's hard to get a read on people you've just met. I find the whole thing very disconcerting, but my partner is all about Los Angeles. That means a lot of stress and negotiating in the coming months...

Is there something on a smaller scale you could do? A little road trip or something?

No, no, no... You don't want them to go away, but you need to stop letting them build up to MAJOR craziness. Start doing little crazies throughout the week (like mowing the lawn with black socks and sandals; saying "hello" to everyone you walk by in the mall; or going out to eat at a place you'd normally not go - like Chuck E. Cheese). Then, the little crazies will keep the big crazies in check.

Edit: Crazy nekkids!

Or Nekkid crazies?

Whichever!!
