I hate humidity.
On a happier note my wife sold someone a million-dollar-winning scratch ticket the other day, and the gentleman is coming in to give her a 'tip' for giving it to him. Here's hoping he's a generous fellow! =P

Hubby in NY now. Almost to NYC. He said to tell Patrick that MA was pretty. :D
Oh, it is. I love MA, don't get me wrong. It's a wonderful state, and all the places I've lived, I prefer it to any of them

It's the politics I can't stand. But this isn't the thread to b%$$+ about those.

Postan- FROM DAD'S HOUSE!!
Oh wow. I'm doing stuff with my Dad that I have not done in forever. I'm really really enjoying the time I'm spending with him and his wife, Anna. He's something of a local celebrity amongst those who need reupholstery work done, and he intends to keep working for the rest of his days. It's great to see where I get some of my work ethic and inability to relax from, and I've been working with his wife to sneak more veggies into his diet(V8 Fusion helps), and I've also helped her with some of her physical problems(stuff from martial arts helps) and some of the problems her grandchildren have been having with depression(stuff I have to know through the main job).
Although it has had its rocky parts, this is the greatest vacation I've ever had. It's seductive, South Carolina- the slower pace of life and overall friendliness(even though my dad claims its a front and he wants red-handed revenge for various slavery injustices) is quite a change from the eternally on-the-move NYC and enviorns.
I gotta go now, I'm on his wife's computer and I don't want to hog it.
Solnes, your hubby is going to be in NYC for a while? I go back tomorrow, maybe I can meet up with him at the Strat and take some pictures or something!!!!

Finally got caught up. Had to go to the doctor this morning. Another stupid ear infection. But I have eardrops now so it should be better in a couple of days.
It was fun hanging out with Moorluck and E7 yesterday. Bryce was so totally engrossed in his video game at first that he barely said hi, but then was so sad to have to say good bye. He was very entertained by Moorluck's Gollum and Yoda impressions. :)

Hmph... Will have to speak with the hobbit Moorluck. *GOLLUM*

So I started watching that show "Dexter". It creeps me the hell out, but I can't stop watching, I think I'm just sick in the head...... but not nearly as sick in the head as the main character *shudder*
Then watch this version. It may still be creepy as hell, but it's still probably a little safer...

Hubby was equally as entertained by Bryce, said he was one of the sweetest kids he had met! :D

BTW Jeremy. I'm glad that your SO will be back next week. I know it's been quite a while for you. (When are you planning on going to the UK?)
Thanks Moff. The UK move will be more ironed out when Alex submits his thesis the first week of January. We had originally planned to be gone next month. But the university suspended new grad student funding forcing him to go on this field season, rather than a new grad student like originally planned. We also learned that a particular prof is on his review committee, this prof has a reputation for not even looking at a submitted thesis for 3 months when the other committee members start getting on his case.

I sooooooooo did not expect you to sound like that.
I really thought there would be moaning or something.
You sounded so.... human!

Naw. He mostly just makes farting sounds and non-sequitor comments about raisin bran.

I think everyone that's NOT at GenCon should call in to show our love.
Except Urizen. He's got restraining orders about showing his love.
LMAO!

Currently Cosmo is in Indy so you don't need to be scared!
Also, I think this is my cue to go bring some orders to the warehouse.
