So riding off the coattails of this Thread, who wants to see this new project a reality?

You know the drill, all you gotta do is sign the petition below.

Thanks once more for your time and effort. :)

Liberty's Edge

As i said in the aforementioned thread, I'm all for it as long as the vampires don't sparkle and the vixens don't have the intellect of a bowl of oatmeal.

Oh for goodness...

Okay, I do LOVE the enthusiasm.

So if fans really, truly demand it, I'll write it. But I have no idea what'll go into it, and it won't happen until later in the year. Quite possibly not until October. Maybe right around Halloween.

With those warnings in place, feel free to express interest (or lack of interest), in such a product coming from my keyboard.

I can promise to have neither sparkly vampires, or fanged bimbos.

I'm always up for more creative vampire options. Never was completely happy with the stock treatment. Scalable individual powers with age are always a plus. And howzabout some rules on Renfields? Or something yoinked from WoD, the Ghoul? (of course, named differently, like blood servant or something)

Hm, the vixens I can get behind, but vampires have been done to death.

...okay, no more puns.

But really, even though almost everything SGG does is great, vampires are a territory I don't want to see retrod, even by them. I've already got a slew of vampire books for 3.0, 3.5, and even a Pathfinder one now, and they serve every possible use I could have for them.

I say, make this the Super Genius Guide to Vixens and Venusians instead (since, as we all know, the denizens of the planet Venus are all nubile young women).

Well I would like to see a vampire like race that is on par with the other races, and perhaps feats and such that could advance it.

While not necessarily wanting to see playable Vampires as a Base Race. I think that variation "Half-Vampires" or Vampire-like Race(s) might be a better use of effort.

I'm in

Also, i think a product like this would have to explore more then just the vampire itself, so the idea of a half vampire and what that might mean could be a good theme. There are certainly stories from comics and anime that include half vampires as vampire hunters for instance. It could make for some interesting material especially come halloween and the obligatory revisit to castle ravenloft.

I guess you could stop producing such quality work and showing you care about your fans/customers wants, but I dont recommend that. No worries though, we all know you have alot on your plate but eventually you'll need new ideas. Cant hurt to get some of them from the people that will buy them.

Not to threadjack, but you can get that with Liber Vampyr (scroll to the bottom of the page).

Got it already, but I'm looking for something a little different. Liber Vampyr to me screams more Campaign Setting, whereas I'd like to see something that can plug and play anywhere and be Setting Neutral (and Im not saying Liber Vampyr isn't good, because it definately is). :)

Instead of Vampire since they are in the bestiary and classic monsters already. What I want to see is Dhampir's made into a playable race. Personally I am big fan of the book series of the same name by Barb and JC Hendee. But any well done and interesting version of the Dhampir would be cool.

Can we have fanged vampires and sparkly bimbos then? ;P

Ahhhh.... I'm skeptical on this one. It's a little bit cheesy, even for me. Can't say I'm sold on this one, Aussie.

Simple solution: Vampire Prestige Class. Become a vampire, you're forced to take it ASAP, at least one level. You can advance it as you choose to gain cool vampire powers, at the expense of regular character advancement. So at 1st level you're just some spawn, while at 10th level you're bad@ss master vampire (I guess with 5 levels you'd be 'ordinary free vampire'). You can scale the amount of spawn you can have according to your levels of Vampire PrC, too. And vampire bonus feats at certain levels.

Okay, maybe it's not the simplest solution, but it makes a lot of sense. Heck, you could do it for Liches while you're at it.

Dunno what you'd do for the Vixen side of things. You can pretty much do a 'Femme Fatale' thing with high CHA and a few skills. Mind you, the 'bikini barbarian' needs help to actually be a viable concept...add CHA bonus to AC, perhaps? :D

Oh, and if this book does happen, feel free to swipe these ideas...

I'll buy it. :)

Sovereign Court

I'd be honour bound to buy it.

Actually, when I mentioned "Vixens" I had partly in mind the werefox of 1e.

this sounds great, a vampires and lycanthropes supplement would be amazing. or just a vampiress and vixeness book... hell anything with vampires is a good thing(except twilight series), and who could go wrong with ANY style of vixen, this product needs made!

Actually this sounds like an amazing idea. Along the lines of the Races of Hoof and Horn Guide.

I'd go for it, if only because I'm a RL-DM and can never ever have enough breeds of vampires. Just as long as they don't sparkle and eat mountain lions, I'm all for them.

Grand Lodge

well with mentions of vampires, werewolves and vixens are we SURE this isn't turning into a Twilight supplement... I mean, like sparkly vampires, are so like totally HOT!

*lol* My wife LOVES twilight and we JUST got back from seeing Eclipse... it's okay... seems a lot like World of Darkness to me, just with sparkles... get over THAT and it is WOD in a lot of respects.

what would I want to see... I would want the ideas separated... V&V sounds cool but thematically don't work for me... Vampires and Lycanthropes are CLASSIC monsters, but are so... BORING... breathe some new life into them, a new vision on the theme.

Vixens... okay sure... BUT ummm best I can come up with is some Zena, She-Ra, Wonder Woman, Sheena supplement... chainmail bikini barbarian babe can be done already with creative thinking (essentially a chain shirt broken up and distributed across "strategic" places- add useful feats- done). Otherwise Macho Women with Guns has it covered... or uncovered rather...

Time traveler.

The Doctor specifically, but really, does any game system handle time travel well?
