Question: Can I get a full attack while grappled? I was thinking I only got one, but re-reading the text, it sounds like it's the grappler, not the grapplee who is limited to dealing damage from a single attack.
EDIT: Aha! Found an answer from Jason via Messageboard Search and FAQ.
Folks,
The RAW do allow the grappled to make a full attack action, assuming they can do so with only one hand. Since flurry does not require two hands to perform, a monk could flurry.
Grappling is not always the best idea. Grappling a monk is one such example. I think folks need to remember that the grappled condition is not as severe as it once was. You are no longer draped all over the target. It is more like you got a hold on them, typically an arm (hence the restriction). The pinned condition is more of your greco-roman wrestling hold.

I'm after Findor so you're not having to prepare a third locate object spell on his gear to find him, and because Maysalkirii honestly doesn't know his fate so with you saving Adele hes trying to save Findor.

I honestly have no idea if acrobatics interacts with slow fall, Joana. I've never had to slow fall more than the height of my slow fall ability before. This is completely new to me, too. Guess it is GM fiat, so to speak, unless there is a thread out there I haven't seen.
Im confident you can use acrobatics to reduce falling damage in addition to using slow fall.

If you'll let Dragox try to Acrobatics the first die of damage away, I'll roll below. If not, since I didn't mention it, during my action, I understand.
Acrobatics 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
If you are cool with it, DM, I'll take 2 points of damage away, since it was the first die.

Yeah, I noticed that too.... The thing is, I've stopped dreaming about Findor... and now can't get Galanthea out of my mind... lol. :P I can keep playing Findor if most people want me to, at least until his 3rd death, but Galanthea's been ready..... or I can bring in one of my other older character ideas.

I thought he had modified his ruling so that we could have two primary casters so long as their spellcasting abilities were not the same.
Witch and Alchemist are both Intelligence casters, while sorcerer is a Charisma caster. But he may have changed it back.
Cleric is a Wisdom caster, and Diviner intelligence.

I'd guess the luster is pretty well off a character after he's died, been reincarnated as a different race, and then died again. ;)
My only reservation is that we're already painfully light on arcane and ranged options. As long as a replacement character can use a bow and/or fire off some ranged spells, though, that ought to work.

Originally I said that you could not double on full spellcasting classes. Then I changed it so that spellcasting classes based on the same attribute are a no-no. But here is my final ruling on the subject. I think it will keep things balanced while maximizing versatility. Any combination of spellcasting classes may be taken, but spellcasting slots from full spellcasting classes do not stack with others when based on the same attribute. If you were an Oracle/Bard, for example, you could choose spells from the Bard or Oracle lists to fill your spell slots, but the slots themselves would not stack. Same for a Cleric/Ranger or a Sorcerer/Paladin.
Spellcasting slots from partial casters (Bard, Paladin, Ranger, Inquisitor, etc.) do stack regardless of their dependent attribute.
Stardust, please play whatever you feel like. There does seem to be a need for arcane and ranged duties in the party, but nothing that a little creativity and strategy cannot more than make up for.

I don't think it was a spell. I think they just spent the night walling themselves up mundanely. They knew we'd detect any magic they used so they did it the old-fashioned way. :)

It was mundanely hidden. I didn't pick up on it as the 'recently added stonework' I thought was simply describing the bridge in greater detail than first found on our scouting array, rather than picking up that it had been added since our sojourn.
I actually got that it was new but misread the directions: thought it was the two towers on the opposite side of the chasm that were potentially trapped. I didn't realize they were pinning us on the bridge.
Btw, I think we're waiting on Feek's action in the main thread, aren't we?

I made her at 6th level, to be on par with the other characters, but I can change her to 5th if you prefer. I kept her equipment at 10,500 gp, except I forgot the 500 gp which will likely be spent on alchemist's fire and potions.
Roleplaying Notes: Chaotic Neutral. Shalani has an arabic feel to her, with desert-tanned skin and golden orange eyes. She wears a hooded cloak with a part that wraps around the lower part of her face so only her eyes are visible. She mostly acts chaotic good, but has a destructive bent due to her elemental nature which sometimes overrides that, and I felt the best way to do that was to make her Chaotic Neutral.
I am not sure about the traits. Poverty-stricken, yes. But not sure about the other one. :)

Looks like a great character. Usually I would suggest the Hedge Magician trait for a discount on crafting (especially with an alchemist), but it wouldn't fit well with the campaign. Not to give away too much, but the style of play is going to continue at the relatively quick pace we have had so far. There won't be a lot of time to dedicate to crafting the big-ticket items.

Stardust, let me know in a spoiler your ideas for how to introduce Shalani to the party. Please also include a short character background and possible motivation for working with the Silversong Champions. I imagine the party will want to scout the Red Hand army or destroy the bridge before returning to town, so it isn't needed immediately.

DM, Adele will use Lore Master to make her Knowledge (arcana) check about the eidolon, totalling 33. Is that check high enough to know all the information in the APG about the eidolon? In particular, does she know that the eidolon is instantly banished if the summoner is unconscious/killed and the Life Link information about eidolons losing hit points when the summoner is more than 100 feet away, i.e., information about weakening or banishing it the next time we meet? Also, I note that it is an evil outsider, qualifying it for double-smite-damage on the first round, mwah ha ha. >:)

Okay, I am going to ask one of the dreaded DM questions, but I thought it would be cool to have and go along with the character concept well... It's kind of like Findor's intelligent sword, though... Might open up a can of worms... The worst that can be said is no, and I can be obediant.
Are fire arms allowed?
Edit: never mind, a sorcerer is more likely to carry a wand anyway

1. If you would like to join the party before they return to town, just tell me in a spoiler why Shalani would be wandering around the wilderness near Skull Gorge.
2. I'm going to have to pass on the firearms, sorry. They always change a setting (sometimes for the better), but I don't think they really fit in Golarion. Besides, Maysalkirii is already almost overpowered, do you really want him to dual-wield pistols? :)

Okay, some ideas. Whew, this is difficult. :)
Shilani was part of another adventuring group who had come out earlier, but is the lone survivor after an attack from the hobgoblins and their dragon ally. She may even be a prisoner of a warband that needs to be rescued.
She is an explosives expert that has just arrived at Whatsit's Ferry, and was sent ahead by the authorities who thought the adventuring party might need help destroying the bridge... lol. :P
Anybody else want to help me come up with something? I think I used all my imagination coming up with a vision of her... lol. :P
I do know she is on the run from some authorities. She did some massive damage to a city not too long ago, when the elemental rage "took over". And also that her entire tribe was killed in a devastating attack from some fire elemental creature, who left her alive for nefarious purposes... :P
Another Question: The accelerated drinker trait allows Shilani to drink a potion as a move action instead of a standard action. Would this also work on alchemist extracts, or would that be considered game-breaking?

The people of Drellins Ferry have no reason to believe the bridge needs to be destroyed yet IIRC.

As Findor's character will be joining with full equipment i've checked with DM over MSN if we are free to strip Findor of his equipment and use it to improve the survivors chances of success. Tanner encouraged this, pointing out that crafting is pretty much out of the question as this is a fast paced game.
So once Adele or one of the more charismatic characters (hint- not Feek!) decides what to do with Findor's body and what service and speech to give at his burial/cremation- we need to decide where to allocate his gear.

Adele has a +1 mithral shirt, which is lighter, no ASF chance and no ACP. Sell it.

Give it to Narses if he doesn't have a deflection bonus yet. He's more likely to be in melee and has a worse AC.

Narses the potion of flight I used last combat was bought out of Feek's pocket and i'd like to claim the one Findor had, but if you want it instead let me know so I can remember to buy another. Lets not get caught without flight capability again, I felt very alone without my big scary barbarian fighting alongside me lol.

btw. Yes please. I would very much like the ring of protection. Narses has a +2 non-mithral brestplate, Findors mithral one would lower Narses's AC by 1 but raise his move by 10'. I actually think thats a fair trade concidering the +2 ring, so put a +2 breastplate in the loot instead.

The breastplate is small sized however- so you'll have to wait to get it resized if you want to do that.

AK, just give the healing potion to someone who can't heal, like anyone but Adele or I. I can channel 5 times and spontaneously heal, so I think giving that to me might be overkill. Narses might need it, since he burned one of his healing potions during the fight.
