| Decius Norfire |
This is my background just in case I get in the group
At young age, as with all children from House Norfire, he was fostered out to learn his noble house trade. In Decius case this was the role of warfare for his noble house had a long standing tradition of military officers and service of the great House Thrune. Reignier is Decius father and an officer in Cheliax army and he trained young Decius in the ways of battle.
There was little doubt that Decius would become a warrior of skill it was in his bloodright to be amongst the very best. 2nd in line, there was no way he would inherit in his noble house more than some lofty accomodation and loyal service to his family (that he dearly loves and respects)he is intolerant to people that cannot be measured by their own rules and those that may take advantage of him from his kindness.
But for all his kindness, Deciuswas is feared for his ruthlessness and well liked amongst his peers for his commanding respect (sometimes a bit to commandint). He has a sense of fun, a willingness to cooperate for a common goal, and he delights in reading and drinking a good wine.
Where ever there was good wine, there was Decius, looking for ways to become better or a more learned man. His tendency to lead, as this was natural in him sometimes got him into a fight or two, nothing hard or that he couldn't handle.
When he came of age he was given his soldier outfit of his noble house. After receiving this honors he left home to become a greater warrior and maybe some day even forge his own Knighthood or noble house.

Hopefully this works ^^
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 4, 3) = 12 - 1 = 11
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 6) = 19 - 2 = 17
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 2) = 10 - 1 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4, 3) = 16 - 3 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 3) = 14 - 3 = 11
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 4) = 17 - 1 = 16

Rin was a Paladin bound for the Mendevian crusade, he had trained for many years in the service of Sarenrae to bring light to whatever corner of the world the church deemed fit to send him. But when fighting worsened around the world-wound he found it was not just the duty of Iomadae's paladins to fight but every warrior duty to protect Golarion from the fouling touch of devil-kind. He didn't quite make it there...
Back-story:
Rin was born in the empire of Cheliax as a slave serving one of the lesser noble houses. His mother died giving birth to him and his father was beaten to death by a drunken overseer when he was a teenager. When his father passed he became 'disobedient' towards his masters. When they sent the overseer to 'train him in new ways of respect' they were shocked to find the overseer killed by the frail slave's own hand. After he was brought down by the guard they decided to send him into the local arena and to delight in his gruesome death at a gladiators hand.
When Rin proved to tenacious to be brought down by unskilled gladiators and was insolent enough to refuse to kill another gladiator when ordered to. Rin's insolence gave the crowd a new thrill to roar and cheer for whenever he 'stuck it' to the Arena authorities. This was the only reason for his surviving long enough to escape, he barely made it out of the city with his life and as he wandered the countryside with the hellknights hard on his heels he prepared himself for a final stand.
As he crossed several creeks and ran across whatever rocky terrain he could to mask his trail he stumbled upon an odd outcropping amidst a small depression in the forest. With the last of his strength he stumbled into the what appeared to have once been a monastery of sorts, now nothing more then crushed rock and debris. He stumbled to the center of the rubble and collapsed against a weathered statue. As the baying of the hounds and the thundering of the hooves of the hellknights drew ever closer he clenched his battered blade preparing for the worse. He wouldn't be retaken they would not take him alive...
Then the dark clouds above seem to tear open and a great rain fell upon the land. As the sounds of his pursuers went by and the rain drenched him to the bone Rin finally looked upon the statue he leaned against. At the time he didn't know who this angelic flame haired woman was mean't to represent but in the days that he spent recouping in the fallen monastery he began to learn about Sarenrae and when he finally escaped the empire he sought out her priests and spent his entire life trying to forget what he had to do to survive.
Rin is an Assimar originally and if that race is allowed in the PF sense he appears much like your average Aasimar pale / ivory skinned, gold hair, violet eyes but anyone who sees his body unclothed sees that his skin is a tapestry of scars and it is plain to see his life hasn't always been full of light or virtue.
Also their always appears to be a vague practically transparent halo floating above his head, upon closer inspection it appears cracked and tarnished.
If Assimar isn't allowed then Human will do just fine =)

Born and bread in the forests of Kyonin. Never had the same affinity for nature as some of his fellows but enjoyed the games played in the woods.
Joined the pathfinders becouse he wanted to find and explore the ruins and misteryes of the former glory of the elven kingdom.
Will finish him up if he makes the cut.

I'm still in, if possible.
Still not completely familiar with the nature of the Pathfinder society; the pages I've found haven't been very informative. So I ask again, should I reconsider and play a ranger? Earlier it seemed we had a lot of arcane power on our side, but as of now the balance has shifted drastically towards martial force...

Id like to use this character, he is a non-combatantish cleric of Sivanah, using the Priest class from Tome of Secrets. A real bookworm. He was for a different PbP game that did not take off.

Background:
Brother Maynard is a young acolyte of the priesthood of Sivanah, goddes of riddles. Sivanahs followers are an odd and reclusive bunch, studying the world and trying to unravell its secrets. Brother Maynard was left on the doorstep of a Monestary of Sivanah late one fall evening. The Monks inside took this curious package in and debated on what to do with it. Half the brothers voted that raising the child would be a great experiment on intense intelecutal training and the human mind. The other half of the brothers voted that the child should be left inb a cave with wolves to see if wolves really could raise a human baby. One brother voted to roast the baby and eat its brains with orange marmalade, to see what those Mind Flayers were really going on about anyway. Fortuantely in the end, he went over to the side of the "raise the child in the Monestary" faction.
For the next sixteen years, Brother Maynard was raised in a perpetual state of school, often learning items well beyond his years. He learned to speak Ancient Celstian before he could speak common. By the age of six, he had leanred basic mathematics, by nine euclidan geometry. At the age of fourteen he was initiated as an Acolyte into the Order. Within a year he had mastered basic spellcraft, and had a penmanship better than old Brother Ollie, whos real age could not be counted, but claimed he had lived in the tower before Elves arrived.
At the age of Sixteen Brother Manard was initated as a full Brother into the Order of Sivanah. As is custom he soon left for a Scientific Walkabout to study the world and bring back new discoveries.

I'm certainly down to continue with just three if need be
Hey guys, Im willing to play if you have an opening. I posted a healer, and did not make the first cut, but would love to join in. If you have another character already made up or a role currently not filled (theif, mage, paladin etc) let me know.
Im pretty easy.

No problem with more healers, but this dwarf is a cleric, although not the best cleric I've ever made. Maybe his name sounds more like a fighter than normal..he's more a crafty cleric, but not in the rogue sense....If you're confused so am I and I put him together.

What is the party composition now?
Let me know what the party does NOT have and Ill make it up. I cant seem to find out who are the "three".
The three that posted were Bor (Dwarven Rogue), Arvind (Dwarven Cleric), and Quarrion (Elven Wizard)..if we are continuing...looks like we could use a little muscle

I'd like to throw my hat into the ring as well. I've been kicking around the idea of a Paladin of Saernrae who dual wields scimitars. The only problems is that he would need the Oversized-Two Weapon fighting feat from 3.5 to pull it off and I cant seem to find anyone who wants to use 3.5 stuff anymore.
If this is cool with you let me know and I will roll him up, otherwise this is a moot post.
Thanks,
V

New character as requested by the other players:
Please note: This is going to be an "Old School" campain. So I know pure force of arms is not going to be as desired here. However Tusks is not one of the "iddiot brutes" so often played. Blood-Tusks was born son of Foecrusher, cheiftan of the Black Hand Orc tribe, and an Azlanti slave given to his father by the local Goblin Tribes. Origonaly treated as a half-breed freak, Blood-Tusks earned his fathers pride at age six by biting the throats out of three kobalds durning a feast-hall celebration.
His strengh was legendary even at age 10, he could arm wrestle most of the other adults of the clan. He was raised to be a strong and cunning warrior. Shortly after his eleventh birthday, his village was attacked by Adventurers looking to take bounties on Orcs. When it was discovered he could speak eloquently, he was sold into slavery instead of killed.
For the next seven years he was passed from person to person, participating as a pit fighter. His fame grew in the underworld, as he never lost at match. Unfortuantely, at last, Tusks was bested, causing a grevious injury. Instead of paying for the money to heal Tusks, his current owner traded him in a poker game, to cover an enormous debt. The Adventuerer who won him, did not know what to do with the creature, so signed him up to guard his caravan, as he went off to explore the wild unknown.
Tusks knows that his days in the arena are behind him, and if he can negotiate his freedom from his new owner (by coersion or force) and rid himself of his slave brands, he looks to find information on his mothers liniage and the strange fishlike slits along his neck.
(Anyone in the party want to be Tusks' owner?)

Yeah, sorry I haven't had a chance to get back to you guys. I'd certainly love to have a couple of new players. So yeah, you can go ahead and poat as Tusk if you want, and I'll have to think about you're request Vanulf Wulfson. I'm not sure why you'd need that feat, though.
Hey, I actually got into a kingmaker game, so Im going to pass on this one. Thank you though.

I'll have to think about you're request Vanulf Wulfson. I'm not sure why you'd need that feat, though
It allows you to wield a one-handed weapon as a light weapon in your off-hand thereby only suffering the -2/-2 penalty for Two Weapon Fighting as opposed to the -4/-4 for the just Two Weapon Fighting feat.
Oversized Two-weapon Fighting
Type: General
Source: Complete Adventurer
You are adept at wielding larger than normal weapons in your offhand.
Prerequisite: Str 13, Two-Weapon Fighting.
Benefit: When wielding a one-handed weapon in your offhand, you take penalties for fighting with two weapons as if you were wielding a light weapon in your offhand (see page 202 of the PF Core Rulebook).
Special: A fighter may select Over-sized Two-Weapon Fighting as one of his fighter bonus feats.
