As a young elf, Quarrion took a job as a librarian in a region of the deep forest hitherto unexplored by mortals. His special interest was in the records of utterly inhuman creatures, but there came a time when his book learning reached an impasse. It took only a little effort for him to establish an arcane bond with a rowan wand. Soon thereafter, he deemed himself ready to enter the field of exploration; while he finds it pleasing to oppose wickedness and preserve innocence, his most driving motive is unquestionably his curiosity.
