In Stethelos, I am waiting.

I was reading through The Great Beyond and near the end of the book I came upon the little-mentioned Dimension of Time. The few paragraphs about it mention the Book of Serpents that contain rituals required to perform in order to reach the Dimension of Time and in the epilogue there's a cryptic sentence saying, you guessed it, “In Stethelos, I am waiting.”

So, what are your guesses? Is this some sort of a hook for future Adventure Paths? Or has it already been referenced in one of the current ones? Or was it just put there to encourage this sort of thinking? :D

These kinds of obscure references are what I love about the Pathfinder books. They're all over the place, begging you to grab hold and follow the thread wherever your imagination takes you.

Actually... it's a VERY obscure Lovecraft quote. Read his story fragment "The Green Meadow" for more... it's in the public domain and available online if you do a little searching...

In my campaign I've decided Aroden is trapped in Stethelos, held outside of time, hence his "death" and the Gap with it's fragmented timeline in Starfinder. The party in my Iron Gods campaign will discover that's what happened, and then when we switch to Starfinder they'll be trying to find him and free him (one of the Pathfinder characters got immortality from rolling on the Numerian Fluids chart, so she'll be the questgiver/Maz Kanata type character in Starfinder).
