If you've subscribed, I assume that means that you have the actual first installment now (seems logical, but I don't know computers, so I could be wrong). So anyway, after you've had a chance to look at that initial $2.00 chapter, please feel free to comment, write reviews, talk it up, talk it down, whatever. I figure the more people that take the risk on the $2.00 purchase and buy it, the more will actually decide to go all in, and the more stuff that will allow us to do in the future. :-)
Anyway, for those of you who hadn't seen The Camp before, I hope you really like it, and for those who have the 3.5 version I hope the the PF updates and the few changes here and there are to your satisfaction. I've never gotten to have this much creative control over an end product before so if it's great, I'm ecstatic, and if it sucks...well, Bill did make some editing changes. ;-)

I just subscribed also, but no first chapter as yet. I assume it will arrive in my email box sometime (or a link to it). That was a hefty chunk of change, but with the reviews of the 3.5 version I read, it sounds like a good one. Now I just have to hope that my players will try to mess with me by heading in a direction they think I haven't prepared anything for...

Ok; subscribers all should have chapter 1, so I am prepping code to sell the $2 intro chapter download today. If you are a non believer:) give this a try for $2 and see what you think.
Each next 30-50+ chapter will be released as soon as we can get them done (about 1/month, maybe a bit quicker), so the whole should be done in 12-13 months.
Feedback appreciated (good or bad)!

If you're talking about the one yesterday at 6:54 am,
If you're talking about something else, let me know and I'll try to find it for you.
No it was the one on this forum that I posted after, only it vanished before I could read it in its entirety. It began, "Ok, subscribers all should have Chapter 1, so I am prepping code to sell the $2 intro chapter download today..." I fear it was swallowed by the void monster of the Paizo forums.

Okay, I thought maybe your computer was just messing up, but I never saw that post so it sounds like you're right about it getting swallowed by the interweb void.

Welcome aboard matey! (had to make the pirate joke; Jolly Roger after all).
Keep the feedback coming, I think only 3 technical difficulties so far out of like 70 orders, and have confirmed 2 have been resolved. I think (no response yet) that the third has too.
New profession for my poor wife---web developer...if I live that long. I think IO her one extra Mother's Day this year.
I am not allowed to touch the main site for some reason I do not understand (until later today I am told); but will update there daily (most of the time).
If you have not subscribed, give that $2 intro a try...I seriously doubt anyone will be disappointed with what we are doing here.

ps--Tsar and Tsen are two ruined, ancient cities from my own campaign world (names heavily influenced by MAR Barker's pronunciations (Tsar is anglicized--I used to spell it Ts 'Ar or something--cannot find old notes)--EPT and JG were the only game worlds when I started playing in 1977). It made it into the 21st century w/ Necromancer Games in Rappan Athuk, Tomb of Abysthor and Demons and Devils as a "mystery place", and hence into Greg's work on this book.
They were warring nation capitals, destroyed in a cataclysmic battle by each other...keep in mind this was MAD time w/ the Soviet Union, I was 12 or so, and my old man was a military guy at SAC (strategic Air Command).
Tsar was the "good guys" and Tsen was the "bad guys" in early Bill Webb campaign jargon.
So, no, Tsar was not named after a Russian King, but the Russians had a bit to do with it.

So if we were to do any follow on work this year (no more gigantic epics though); what would folks like to see?
Sandbox addy's ala Necromancer Games?
Short One Night Stand Modules?
AP like addys (big and chapter like)?
Necromancer/Bill's game setting (separate from the JG piece)?
Greg's campaign setting?
Source books like Mother of all Treasure Tables?
Multi-part modules like the old A, G or D series?
What else?
No promises, but Slumering Tsar is going well enough I think I may get this going strong again.Thank all of you for the support.
Bill

I would prefer AP like adventures or multi-part modules like the A, G, or D series. I'm not so interested in campaign material as I'm pretty much only using Golarion at this point.

Any of those sound good to me.
I also would be very interested in learning more about the ancient war and those two cities of your old campaign, Tsar and Tsen; and the history of that conflict and geography of that land, perhaps altogether with the aforementioned Mother of all Treasure Tables (history regarding some ancient treasures that might be found in the city of Tsar). I have a rather large continental gap to fill in my campaign and anything that can help me do that is a win for me.

I would say first focus on what necro was best at and what is currently a open niche in Pathfinder. Sandbox style adventures, Paizo has done a couple of semi ones, as has some 3pp. But big sandbox style adventures I think would fill a needed niche. After you get things going, then I would branch out honestly.

All right. I feel kind of dumb.
I went to the frog god website, and I don't see any way to subscribe. What am I missing?
Don't feel dumb. Something is wrong with the site. Used to be you'd click on "products" tab and the page would list titles with paypal links. Paypal links not there now. Send Bill an email and I'm sure he'll get on top of it. I'll check out the neromancer forum, see if there's any explanation there.

For some reason an older verison of the site (before we had the links up) is being substituted for the current version. I'm not enough of a computer guy to know how that works. I sent Bill an e-mail. He was able to get it fixed last time. Hopefully this time they'll figure out the bug and kill it. That's kind of annoying when your website selling products won't let anyone buy anything. But bear with us here, we'll get it rolling again.

Sandbox addy's ala Necromancer Games?
+10 - always looking for more sandboxy stuff
Short One Night Stand Modules?
+8 - would be cool
AP like addys (big and chapter like)?
+1 - not really into adventure paths - too linear for me
Necromancer/Bill's game setting (separate from the JG piece)?
+10
Greg's campaign setting?
+10
Source books like Mother of all Treasure Tables?
+5 if it condensed all official magic items along with new ones in random generation tables.
Multi-part modules like the old A, G or D series?
+10 - yes!
And re: Yahoo Hosting... ugh. Totally shoulda went with Google Sites... just sayin... free hosting and integration with all other google apps....

Tome of Frickin' Pathfinder Horrors, please. :)
+1
I think that there are plenty of fans out there who would be willing to do the conversions for you if that's what it takes to get a Pathfinder updated version available on Print-on-Demand services! I know I'd be willing to do some of the work, at least.
On a side note returning to the topic at hand, I've got a few months to consider how best to drop the Slumbering Tsar Saga into Golarion. Any initial thoughts from those more familiar with the setting than I?

Tome et al
I could not do Tome as a FGG book. The IP is owned by Necromancer. I do know that Clark has had discussions w/ folks RE this; but that one is not in my court. While I can use Necro IP (I own 50% of it), I have to keep FGG completely separated from Necro when it comes to IP ownership. Not sure I understand exactly why, but my lawyer (Clark) tells me so, and he has never led me astray.
From a "want to" factor, I don't really want to do rules type books anyway. I can, have etc., but its just not my thing. That being said, Encounter Tables and Treasure Tables were two of my favorite books that we did w/ Necromancer...very useful, and quite creative.
Working w/ Vicki and the gang at Tabletop is always fun. Anyone who has not checked out their stuff should...Tabletop Adventures...they are the masters of flavor text stuff. Sure its fluffy and all, but its pretty useful. Players have heart failure when I read flavor text:)
I think KODT had a couple funny bits about that at one point.

I know, but we can hope. And maybe if we request it enough, Clark will read the thread and realize how much of a desire there is out there for it.
Regardless, I've got the first PDF and have been reading through it, and unless the quality takes a hard nosedive I'll be buying all of the sections of the adventure.
Top notch stuff, and I've always been a sucker for long campaign material. Thanks!

First chapter should be up by Sunday at the latest--just waiting for final back from Chuck and I'll load it up!
Okay. I feel dumb again. I subscribed, and when I plug my name and password into the Bytes Interactive downloads center, I'm told there are no files to download at present.
What am I doing wrong?

Another +1 for the Pathfinder ToH (and not because I came up with the name for it, either!) :)
And I'll definitely be signing up for Slumbering Tsar... just as soon as I can find another job :( (Anybody know any leads in the west side of Houston/Katy, TX area?)
How long is the subscription offer up for, again?
