wouldn't you rather have had a politics section created rather than a tech section?

Yes, although I understand why they don't do that. :/

Why?

It is something like they want to have a forum where RPGers gather to talk about things and do not want to be known as a publisher that has deliberately set up a site to discuss politics and religion. They don't care if people think, 'hey that publisher set up a site strictly to discuss tech products'.

This. It's one thing to let people talk about anything they want in an "off topic" section, another to say they specifically want political discussions on their boards.

By the way, Thing and I being on at the same time, and agreeing about something, is going to create some kind of rift in reality, I imagine.

Yeah, I'd posted in that one back when. I've also supported other threads for the cause.

With that, I think it is time I signed off so as to not damage the universal equlibrium (sp?) any further.

*ahem*

CJ was sent to the hospital after being caught in the zoo at night, trying to feed the alligators and claiming they were trolls. Meanwhile, someone posted embarassing pictures of Sebastian taken from his failed screen test for the live-action My Little Pony movie. And, on the other side of town, Jack's efforts to fill in for a missing co-worker proved disasterous when....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

I see. So you think there is something special and different about politics as compared to other topics. We can have a tech section, because "meh, who cares?" But a Politics section would imply something special -- like realizing Politics are special and distict?

I think your opinion actually supports the need for Politics having its own section, because they are a unique topic.

May be going to see Shrek 4 today. Can anyone chime in and let me know if I should fake a massive eyesplosion and cancel before its too late?

I saw it yesterday since my wife and I had a morning together. Had the whole cinema to ourselves (it was 10:30 am). I LOVED it, but I have always been a Shrek fan. I was amazed at the resolution of the character's faces. I mean, wrinkles, freckles, it really is quite a shot above the original animation. Truly amazing.

Well, two truckloads of dump compost later and the pumpkin bed is ready to be planted. Gotta think forward to Halloween!. Back to the chorings ..

Yeah I already barked up that tree. Got the thumbs down directly from Vic and Gary. I wish there was a way of segregating them while not specifically calling it a 'political forum'. Maybe the Elemental Plane of Fire?

I'd gotten fed up with prepping and was nodding off. It was RDR or fall asleep.

And I do appreciate the added NPC's, believe me! You rock.

Flattery will get you everywhere, and anywhere. Also, you're welcome. I hope the NPCs work for you. I'm still not happy with just those few, I will probably add a couple more to give you some flexibility with what you can do. I've got a couple more ideas!

Awright folks. After a day at work that was far, far more grueling than it should have been I am off to go home and to yet...another day of work. *sigh*

Ah well, at least I'm not in the field tonight. Maybe I'll go to Chinatown and play video games until my eyes bleed or something. At any rate, see everyone on Monday, perhaps on Sunday before the game.

Uhg. A/C went out in the work truck today, now I'm wiped and the kids are wired.... why can't we be on the same page, or at least the same chapter? :P

Not good, not bad... just meh. I'm at work again and it's getting close to closing time but nothing much has happened today of great interest. Tomorrow I'm running my CotCT game, so tonight will be spent in perparation of that before workout.

How about you CJ, the day treating you well?

Well, off to the store to grab dinner.

It has been slow around here today. I don't have much to talk about I guess. Sorry about that. It has been a very surreal, yet relaxing, day.

Day is treating me just fine. I am at work and for the most part it has been slow. Kids are at home and the wife has yet to email me that they are being terrors or anything so that is always a plus. She however is apparently not feeling well so I will most likely drive home when she picks me up.

Tired as all get out because I stayed up late to watch the Richard Donner version of Superman II. I tell you the Sakinds were idiots.

I think I may in fact go to sleep early and since I do not have to be dropped off early, my wife being in a training class for her potential new job, I have been to work an hour and a half early each day. I am dragging rear.

We've been having a lack of sleep lately, Treppa has allergies so she'll wake up sometimes in the middle of the night coughing or sneezing, and the CPAP machine seems to make it worse at times. We were up for a long while the other night and haven't made any catch up yet, so we're both in this half-ready-to-sleep state but awake enough.
