And I'm done for now, I was just dropping off some cigaretes and breakfast for the wife so she doesn't have to leave the house untill she wants to.

E7, Patrick, and CH: Sorry to hear about your medical horror stories. Patrick, your story is particularly tragic.

Morning all. Thanks for your sympathy Taig, it is a tough road sometimes, but you deal with the hand life gives you and roll on. Ally is a great kid despite her handicaps, and has taught me a lot just by being who she is. I personally believe she is incarnated as a teaching life, where an old advanced soul sacrifices to help others evolve along their path to apotheosis. But that's the panentheistic pagan in me.

Have fun folks, see you @7pm EST!

*blink*

Oddly enough, I respect your belief. :)

That is an interesting view on Ally's "purpose". I think she's very lucky to have you as a father.

See you later.

Sorry you guys won't be able to celebrate St. Patrick's due to illness and work. I'll have an extra one for each of you...OK, no I won't, because I don't need to be drinking at the moment. :S

Anyone fluent in Gaelic? My g-g-grandmother was named Befoú Devon. I've been told it translates to Bessie, but never had it confirmed. Her husband was Michael Brown. That's easy. Thx.

Well, so far, today has sucked ass. I'm hoping it will get better, but I won't hold my breath.

Silver Crusade

Just think of all the brains you can have once you get out of work.

That's if I can keep from caving my own head in with repeated blows from a filing cabinent

Dark Archive

As long as it still holds your helmet up and gives a point of reference for your eyes you'll be fine.

Long Dinner?

Yeah kinda. Ended up getting BBQ then coming home and remained in a bloated-catatonic state.

Urrrg! Reading all of the flu posts from this weekend seems to have infected me. I'm home early from work due to illness. Not fun when I'm way behind already.

I think you are pounding the wrong head(s) into that filing cabinet. :)

6 hours ago I was fast asleep.

So I heard a strange rhythym as I woke up 40 minutes ago. I thought i was my nephew banging on a drum and then realized that he didn't spend the night last night. The noise grew louder as I came out of my torpor and then I realized it was my alarm clock. Weird, huh?

Nothing too compelling or exciting. Trying to get stuff done around the house and refigure monthly expenses. It's lookin' like today is the last day of school for the lil lady this quarter. One more quarter to go and she should get her web design certificate. <crossing fingers> I suspect we'll probably be goin' to Cincy this weekend to visit her family.

And contrary to popular belief, there has been no actual 'drinking' from me today. And that reminds me, I need to get my NCAA bracketology done. I probably won't win, but I only participate with a ten spot because one of my friends run it. Not much of a gambler except for the once in awhile lottery ticket. I have other things to throw my money at wastefully. :P

And you and yours?

And...
