it's always sad when anyone dies.

Requiescat in pace.

To be honest I really didn't like the man, and disagreed with him on many levels, but I would never wish him dead.

Not to sound flippent but maybe it will throw ORU offtheir game so the T-Birds can actually win for a change.

Well no matter how silly it got sometimes you have to admit his death is a loss, he was a real character. I remember watching him on tv, had a nice soothing voice....

Oral Roberts is not my daddy. I'm not down with him.
However,....
I did personally keep my mouth shut on the RIP Ted Kennedy thread. He definitely wasn't my huckleberry.

Nothing you say can do anything to Oral Roberts now. You're trying to hurt other people than him.
Show some damn class.

Cleaned up some. Just once I'd like to have an obituary thread where people show some respect.

What book are you reading, David?

Dark Archive

If I had to guess he is either Reading "The God delusion" by Richard Dawkins or "The greatest show on Earth" by Richard Dawkins. But I place my money on the first.

I would imagine he is not reading either and is with his beloved Creator.

Those books are worth a laugh. Dawkins is silly.

I'm reading Jerry Coyne's Why Evolution is True. It does eveything Dawkins' GSOE tries to do, except better, and in fewer words.

I might have to read that one then. I don't mind opposing viewpoints that are put forth intelligently. I might learn something.

Removed post(s) again.

Seriously folks, let the dead rest.

Best traveling faith healer ever. Man that dude could seriously God-talk. May he rest in peace.
