would anyone else like to see an Alchemist like Full Metal Alchemist?

You mean a Transmuter?

(sorry, couldn't help it lol)

Well even he was an odd duck. The other alchemists of the show did not work as he did. I really do not think a slot or limited knowledge or number of use system works for that setting. They were not limited per use, or to a few powers. It really was up to how creative you were

You can pull it off very easy with mutants and masterminds however.

Well if that's what floats your boat, then go with it. :)

Not really. Alchemy on that show was just a creative name for magic. You could easily have changed all of their "principles of alchemy" to laws of magic. The alchemist here is closer to what I see the class doing.

Because of this post, my GM is going to suffer through a Warforged or awakened iron golem alchemist.

-Thank you-.

I agree with you Velderan. Plus, a transmutation wizard seems more like a Full Metal Alchemist character, than the alchemist.

Or the basic slapping your hands together, depending on the spell of course.

RPG Superstar 2011 Top 4

He slaps his hands to form a transmutation circle with his body or something like that if I recall. So unless it's tattoo'd on you or whatever Edward has...

I had a Goliath Cleric who at about 8th level would have most of his 3rd level spell slots set aside for Stone Shape. Had a lot of fun with that guy. Now I want to make a Transmutation Wizard...
