So, NaNoWriMo? Should I try it or not? If I do, my posting on the boards will decrease a bunch. Hmm, I probably know the answer already. :)

I tried it last year. It was a pretty valuable experience. Okay, in my case, it convinced me that I didn't really want to be a writer after all, but I know plenty of people who have done it and still write. :)

Watch out for splinters though. ;p
First, gently defoliate your dryad...

That can be fun. {starts scribling down notes for a new Showtime show, The D Word}

Hmmm.... a dryad, nymph, succubi, erinye, an Eberron changeling, a couple lady elf guest stars,...

So when can I call and renew my cable?

Sharoth, I'm glad your doggie's vet bill was less than expected.

Patrick, prayers going your way for you daughter and dog. I admire the patience and love you must have for both your daughters.

Solnes, sorry to hear about your son. Between you, Lynora, and a co-worker of mine, I'm hearing a lot about boys who don't fit into the current school system scheme.

David, keep plugging away at your job search. I hope something turns up for you.

And hello to Moorluck, Celestial Healer, Mairkurion, Emperor7, Devlyn, Aberzombie, Heathansson, and Sebastian. And everyone else I forgot.

Hello Taig!

How was your day? Tell us something good!! :)

I had a nice evening yesterday, I've got a game night tomorrow night, and a sorta funny story.

I think I've mentioned the guy on my new team who keeps checking up on me. We'll call him Ryan, because that's his real name. Today, there were three other guys standing at my cubicle and we were talking about football. Well, Ryan comes along and eyeballs everyone, shakes his head, and walks off. Then he comes back 5 minutes later (everyone was gone) and takes a nice long look at what's on my monitor. So, I say "Hi, Ryan", and he walks on and walks back to ask if I wanted something. I said, "Nah, I just figured you wanted to say something since you keep stopping by."

That sounds lame.

I wonder if Heathy also has someone watching his internet usage at work, because he's been scarce during the daytime.

Sorry, sweetie. I sort of conked out unintentionally. I meant to call. :(

We figured something like that doll, she'll live. She was uber stoked to have heard from you though! :)

My husband swears that he's gonna try to get it working this weekend. Although that might be superceded by trying to get the router fixed. :(

Hey Moorluck, if you're still on here .... what exactly are your symptoms, please? I'm not trying to be nosy, I'm trying to compare them to someone else's symptoms, too ....

G'morning Badger!

Good morning, Moorluck, such as it is. It's a bit dreary and rainy over here.

Mornin' all!

Only on for a short bit before having a Mom date this afternoon. :)

Okay, the list I was thinking of was sore throat, followed by an abysmally running nose, sneezing, headache, and a sorer throat, but not much in the way of fever, and no nausea. So I'm not quite sure if it's the same thing, or not ....

Plus, before the swine flue, Moorluck was a drow elf. Then it turned him into a white human. The horrors! The Horrors!

HOLY CRAP! That is horrible!

But now I kinda wanna infect other Paizoians and see what Moorluck's Virus does to them.

OK, what exactly have you turned loose into the wild, Mr. Frankenbean?

I had a 4 y.o. Swine Flu Mary spit in my eye, so apparently warwoof's is resistant to the thing.

Or you take in wimpy flu virii, toughen them up in your supernatural immune system, and then turn the superbugs loose on poor commoners.

Then the poor victims become suillithropes! Eeek!

Dark Archive

I need a nap. Instead I'm going to clean the living room, vacum, and stat up a character.

Geez I'm grumpy today. Too bad I couldn't sleep later.

Dark Archive

The oldest daughter is sick today. Joy of joys! :(

Liberty's Edge

Bummer.

Yeah, grumpiness seems to be reaching epidemic levels. I'm still pretty cranky today too. Hope it isn't a pre-symptom of some viral bug we all might have.

Hope your daughter feels better soon, David. If you really need a nap, I could probably dig up some of my awful fiction attempts and read them to you, but I'm afraid you might try to gouge out your eyes with a rusty grapefruit spoon.

Mmmm... grapefruit.

Dark Archive

It's not bad, all she want's to do is lay on the couch and watch Nick Jr, which I can handle. It just means I have to put my life on hold to take care of her because my wife agreed to help some people move today.

Enjoy daughters even when they are sick at home. Soon they will grow up, move away, and be sick somewhere else and not call...

Ok back from our trip to the pumpkin patch, of course the church was hosting a festival and fund raiser today. Spent some money on crafts then went to Wal-Mart. Got the wife a new digital camera, you know what that means Flash and Lynora. ;)

Sorry to hear about your daughter David.
Taig, the weather is starting to get pretty crummy here too.
Ambrosia sorry you still feel grumpy babe, you want I should have Solnes cheer ya up? ;)
And to anyone I missed, hope everything is going good.

The Exchange

Almost forgot, I got me a new pair of work boots, a Confederate Birdhouse, and Army of Darkness, and $100 to put to Paizo goodies! :D

Welcome back, Moorluck!

And I get the top of the page by accident. SWEET!!!

TMI:
No, I'm too grumpy to even enjoy that. I'd just depress her and then end up loathing myself more than I do now.

Don't mean to be a downer. I'm used to my mental cycles by now, so I know it'll pass. Only things to do in the meantime are just keep busy and try not to alienate anybody.

Glad you are feelin a little better and got some neat goodies.

Now I have an odd mental picture of wee Sharoth in a Boy Scouts uniform. "No, no, Sharoth. You can't earn your merit badge by starting the fire with your breath weapon. Now roll little Jimmy on the ground till the flames go out."

"And stop telling Sebastian he can use the poison ivy leaves as toilet paper."
