Semi-Home Made Spagetti
For One Large Crock Pot (or a smaller one)
3 cans of Spagetti sauce (Hunt's in this case), (2 cans for smaller pot.)
4 cans of diced tomatoes (Hunt's Basil, Garlic, & Oregano), (3 cans for smaller pot)
2 cans of sliced mushrooms,
2 packets of McCormicks Thick and Zesty Spagetti Sauce mix,
Minced garlic,
Basil, Oregano, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning,
1 to 2 pounds of hamburger meat (as lean as possible).
Combine everything but the hamburger meat into the crock pot and stir while adding the seasonings to the mix. Then cook the hamburger meat with some of the seasonings sprinkled over it. drain off all excess grease. Dice the meat to as fine as you want and then add it to the sauce mix. Remove the hungry chef who is munching on the sauce, put on high for 6+ hours, and cover the crock pot.
Note - I will sometimes take a small fresh onion and dice it up to add to the sauce mix. You can also substitute turkeyburger or venision burger meat instead of hamburger meat.
Garlic cheese bread
Take the bread of choice, turn on the oven to around 200 degrees, butter and add some garlic powder. Remove once it starts to turn brown and add cheese of choice.
