I tried this elsewhere, but maybe the thread title just isn't working for it. Is there no love for today's blog illustration? I was excited by the return of the big pic, and the mite just cracks me up.
Any speculation on what it will be in the new bestiary? Goblinoid?
I'm thinking goblinoid or fey.

Totally agree about the mite! Awesome and a must-have. I've ordered one for each of my family members' Christmas stockings.

It looks a bit... a bit... DULL to be a PFGoblin. And BLUE. ;-)

Jeremy Puckett
I call fey. Just like the other Gremlins.

Jeremy Puckett Uhhhhh... whooops. Sorry. My bad. ^_^
I agree with the Fey, then.
That's right...probably fey. And yes, "goblinoid" was going for subtype in my OP.
Anyway, I think the illustration is fun, and am happy to have another preview. Although, one in the stocking might be a bit shocking...
Giant. Yep, it got to be a giant. ;)
Finally! I'm tired of these sizist stereotypes!
It's now known as the "Non-sizist" type or the "Type formerly known as Giant but now including mites".

Perhaps Goblins experience the bleaching, too... (There was always a disturbing similarity between them and those pesky gnomes...)

Zootcat wrote: KaeYoss wrote: Giant is gone as a type. But it's still there as a subtype of humanoid. And monstrous humanoid probably. Maybe even aberration. But not fey. I think.

Would probably be horrific.

My six year old saw it. I told her it was a smurf first thing in the morning after staying up too late.
That is one grumpy murfsay.
He has newborn puppy eyes.
There's some kind of link malfunction, Sharoth.
Mairkurion {tm} wrote: There's some kind of link malfunction, Sharoth. No there isn't.
Sharoth wrote: However, that creature looks a mite grumpy! Shouldn't that be grouchy? Grumpy was a dwarf.
Mairkurion {tm} wrote: Yes there is. I don't think the "link" is meant to go anywhere. It just triggers the blueification of his icon and makes him three apples tall?
It even looks like it works when it's in a quote and isn't actually a link, or I'm interpreting things poorly.
How do you do that wonderful smurf thing?

Looks like my intro course to web design payed off! hehe
