The Bonus Bestiary featured a list of 257 monsters that will be in the 300+ monster Bestiary.
It's a great list, but it leaves a sizable gap to be filled by at least 43 more critters. So, what are they going to be?
All ten of the major dragons are on the list already.
The usual suspects for demons and devils are all there.
The three usual angels are listed, but not the monavic or monadic devas.
All the genies are listed, including the shaitans.
The usual nagas are all listed.
A number of normal animals are already on the list as well: horses, elephants, wolves and such.
I didn't see Belkers on the list, and they seemed to get a decent representation in the APs, so I figure they made it in.
I'm hoping Greater Medusa and Lamia Nobles make it in, the former most of all.
Just noticed: Only three Azata(formerly Eladrin) and three Archons are listed. Were all of the archons and eladrin in the SRD, or only a sample of their ranks?
edit again-Herd Animal sounds like several of the missing names could be folded into it.

I will tell you that some of the monsters on the Bonus Bestiary list actually represent *multiple* monsters in the full Bestiary.

There better be an al-Mi'raj!
And the North American equivalent, the Jackalope, obviously.
They have jackalope statues all over Odessa, Texas. Kind of eerie, actually...

Won't miss the Gith races or the formians. Good riddance, Flumph! Feed them all to the Tojanaidas, that they both may perish!
I'd miss the Azer.
And no flail snails or stench cattle? That'd be just wrong.
Thanks for the Al Miraj/Jackalope connection. I will now campaign obnoxiously for the Jackalope whenever I do the same for the carbuncle.

I had a stuffed one as a kid in Oklahoma. You could pick them up in various tourist traps (the taxidermists used pronghorn antelope antlers, as near I could tell). It was just a bunny 'though, not a real jackrabbit...
