Behold Kyra, the first PRPG Cleric
I’ll bet Sarenrae is almost as proud as Jason.
It's 3:02 am Cheliax NY time, let lose Paizonians.
Hellooo FIREBALL !

Concentration change is perhaps the most revolutionary. First of all it gets rid of skill tax on casters. But more importantly, casting defensively is now much more risky
Beta Kyra casting a 3rd level spell:
8 ranks + 5 Wis bonus + 3 class skill = +16 vs DC: (15+3) = 18
fails on 1, 5% chance.
PFRPG Kyra casting a 3rd level spell:
8 (caster level) + 5 Wis bonus = +13 vs DC: (15 + 2*3) = 21
fails on 1-7, 35% chance.
Now we're talking.

I like the caster level check to succeed at remove curse, so it's not automatic (more like dispel magic). Especially now that curses have been added as a category of affliction (along with disease and poison), it's nice to see that they have been made a little more dangerous and not so easy to shrug off. I hope to see one or two more good curses in the final book.
I wonder how the caster level check will work for paladins.

Hey, why are there two preview threads guys ?Sombody's got a Demogorgon complex.
: )
There were 5 threads @ fighter and 3 @ ranger, so actually we are improving.
But of course, some Sebastian or other Poodle will come out of nowhere, roll a natural 1 on Spot check and start 2 extra threads. It's just Paizo forums, don't fight it :)

I like this very much as well.

Time to relearn a few old tricks. Jason will be keeping us on our toes.
Did the scimitar threat range decrease, or is that a typo?
Jason said it's a typo.

Here is the other thread, .... were all the action is?
:-)
You would think 'fireball' on a thread title would light a spark.

Alas, the other thread has far more posts and attention.. Therefor, to keep things simple, I am going to lock this thread.
