If he's claiming to have borderline personality disorder, a big feature of that particular mental illness is what is called 'attention-seeking behavior'. This thread probably stopped meeting that 'need', and he's on to something else by now, or he has another thread elsewhere. Indulging that need, btw... not so productive. It usually just leads to further demands for attention. Just found this little thread and thought I'd add that.

Hey all. Thought I'd let you know that do to the Key West Police Department I not only didn't kill myself.. but I was unable to get to a computer.

The story: Arrived at the beach at 5pm. I drank until 11pm at which time I took thirty Ambien (I waited for the beach to empty..) and was JUST about to swim until I fell asleep when I saw an officer coming down the beach. I decided to walk away.. and sure enough they hit my system and I fell asleep.

The officer eventually came upon me. I was breathing shallow.. unresponsive to sternum rubs and my eyes were apparently rolled back into my head. I had no I.D. as per my masterful plan. So, they went thru my stuff. In my guitar case they found the loaded pistol I had as Plan B incase Plan A didn't work.

They assumed I was merely homeless and drunk. EMTs arrived. Same conclusion. So they took blood and only checked for alcohol which I wasn't that drunk so they released me to the police. They never knew what I took.

I'm merely lucky. But.. ALAS! They gave me a carrying a concealed firearm charge. I spent three months in isolation due to my own designs.

The judge witheld judication so I'm not a felon. I'm now in Roswell, NM staying with ,the girl whom I dated in highschool, her family. (Her mom really...)

I'm trying to get my life going again.. (the social worker lady I tried talking to in jail did a test and I might be bi-polar but prison health servies don't really try to help..) all in all.. things could be worse. I still have that empty feeling.. but I'm surrounded by positive so I'm moving forward.

I was in Key West for six hours. It's gotta be a record.

WD, I'm glad that things have improved for you. Stay strong for your children, try and remember that every day on this planet is a rare gift, and despite it not being perfect we live in the most advanced society we hairless apes have constructed yet. I'm pulling for you guy.

I'm glad to hear you're alright, WD. I'm very glad to hear that you are moving forward with your life. It sounds like you've got a lot of support surrounding you.

I'm glad your designs didn't work to spec, WD! New Mexico is an awesome place, and Roswell is really interesting. Take some time to go to the UFO museum and do some nutball watching. Go for a drive looking for pronghorn (west out of town toward Ruidoso. Go to Ruidoso and look around at the antique shops, or watch a horse race. Do stuff, man!

My thoughts go out to you! I hope you keep on finding more and more positives.

Yes, and Carlsbad Caverns is close to you. And Demming NM has a geode mine you can visit if you are into rockhounding. You are also close to the many wonders of Arizona, including the Grand Canyon and Painted Desert. Oh, and you can't beat Cloudcroft if you need to get away from the desert (by going straight up a mountain).
