Two-Weapon Defense and Magical Weapons

Playtest Reports

Is there any opinions if a +1 to +5 weapon wielded on the off hand can stack its bonus for a +2 to +6 bonus to AC?

It would have to be a defending magical ability but if that was true it should.

Two Weapon Defense is a shield Bonus.

"A defending weapon allows the wielder to transfer some or all of the weapon’s enhancement bonus to his AC as a bonus that stacks with all others."

This is a special ability of the weapon, not an inate ability of a character or a feat.

So the short answer is no, the weapon's enhancement bonus doesn't add to the shield bonus of Two Weapon Defense.

If it did, the feat would say so - but it doesn't.

Magical Defending weapons are a different case, and they add their bonus regardless of which hand you hold them in, and regardless of whether you ahve Two Weapon Defense.

but a pair of +5 defenders and Two Weapon defense will put you up there with an axe and shield user like meself...(52+AC)

Wow, 52 AC. Nice.

Unbuffed?

Care to break that down for me? I'd love to see how it's done. My sword+board paladin is only AC 18 at the moment, he could use the pointers.
